After you have gathered all your design ideas, we recommend taking some time to visit your nearest showroom and experience the kitchen displays in person. From kitchen accessories, to flooring and appliances, we carry everything under one roof to create your dream kitchen.

Book in for a free consultation either online or in your nearest branch. Please allow up to one hour for your consultation and have your room measurements with you. You will have a dedicated kitchen designer for your project who will create a design based on your ideas, your space and your budget. This will be followed by a quotation.

When it comes to a new kitchen, there are many things to consider, including structural changes, plumbing, updates to your electrics and decorating. Trade professionals have the craftsmanship and knowledge to fit kitchens to the highest standards, so we would always recommend confirming measurements and any other important considerations with your local tradesperson.

TOP 3 TIPS FOR DESIGNING A FUNCTIONAL KITCHEN LAYOUT 1. Prioritize the Kitchen Work Triangle Keep the sink, hob, and fridge positioned in a practical triangle to minimize unnecessary movement and make cooking more efficient. Ideally, the distance between these key zones should feel natural—no more than a couple of paces apart. This setup reduces wasted steps and keeps everything within easy reach.

INSTALLATION

When you are happy with the final design, its time for us to prepare your kitchen. There are 2 options depending on your preferred timeframe, you can choose: 1) Flatpack units or 2) SmartFit* units. A 3D design will be provided to you once your deposit has been received.

If you have chosen option 1, you can pick up from your local warehouse. If you have chosen option 2, we can deliver to your chosen location where your kitchen arrives completely assembled. Delivery times for SmartFit kitchens start from 25 working days.

Whether it’s your own builder or one of our approved fitters, they will be able to work from the 3D design that we have prepared for you. We are on hand to answer any questions you might have during the final stages of your build.

2. Maximize Space and Storage Thoughtfully Use deep drawers, tall cabinets, and pull-out organizers to make the most of your storage. Don’t be afraid to sacrifice awkward corners for more functional solutions like accessible drawers. Ensure there’s at least 900mm of clearance around islands and walkways for comfortable movement—and more if accessibility is a concern. 3. Design with Real-Life Use in Mind Start with accurate measurements and a clear understanding of how the space will be used. Think about how you cook, what appliances you use most, and how you move through the kitchen. Group related zones— like the sink, bin, and dishwasher—and always consider safety, ease of use, and natural light.

Steps to measure your kitchen

1 GATHER TOOLS:

3 MEASURE THE WALLS

✓ Tape measure ✓ Graph paper ✓ Pencil ✓ Eraser ✓ Ruler

Draw a rough outline of your kitchen on graph paper. Include all walls, windows, doors, and any fixed features like radiators or columns.

Measure the length of each wall from corner to corner. Write down the measurements on your sketch. If all measurements are correct, the walls should connect and complete in the final corner.

Measure the width and height of each door and window. Note the distance from the floor to the bottom of the window and from the ceiling to the top of the window. Measure the distance of each window or door to the nearest corner. When measuring internal doors, measure from the outside of the architrave on the left and right of the door. If the architrave isn’t fitted, let our designers know. Mark these on your sketch.

Measure the dimensions of any fixed features like radiators, columns, or built-in appliances. Mark their positions and sizes on your sketch. If an island includes power, measure the cable position to two walls at a right angle.

Measure the height from the floor to the ceiling at several points to account for any variations.

TIPS TO WATCH OUT FOR Double-Check Measurements: Always measure twice to ensure accuracy. Account for Skirting Boards: Measure from the wall, not the skirting board. Note Electrical Outlets and Plumbing: Mark the positions of electrical outlets, switches, and plumbing fixtures. Consider Obstructions: Be aware of any obstructions that might affect the placement of cabinets or appliances. Take Photos: Take some pictures on your mobile to share with our design team. Existing Appliances: If you’re keeping your existing appliances, take pictures of them and measure their height, width, and depth in millimetres.

GUIDELINE FOR MARKING DIMENSIONS ON GRAPH PAPER Scale: Decide on a scale for your drawing (e.g., 1 square = 100 mm/10cm). Outline: Draw the outline of your kitchen to scale on the graph paper. Label: Clearly label each wall, door, window, and fixed feature with its corresponding measurement. Details: Add details like the positions of electrical outlets, plumbing, and any other relevant features. Review: Double-check your drawing and measurements for accuracy.

Using top quality laminate, each product showcases realistic prints using ‘True Scale’ patterns, that are digitally printed, and repeat every 2 metres. The high-pressure laminates are heat resistant up to 160°C (hot pots cannot be placed directly on to laminate surfaces).

Leading Edge

We also offer a bespoke made-to-order laminate worktop service, in a variety of sizes, thicknesses and shapes to suit your interiors – available in up to 4090mm long (depending on colour) and up to 1200mm wide. Worktops can also be finished to any size within the above dimensions and curved on 1 or all 4 corners.

Fly Box Storage

Fly Box is an innovative corner cabinet solution where two compartments positioned one behind the other can be pulled out from the corner cabinet in a single movement. Thanks to its guide rail, the rear box positioned in the corner automatically folds out, allowing both compartments to be extended fully from the bottom cabinet. They are incredibly useful for high cabinets, replacing vertical lift panels which are often hard to reach, with a convenient sideways motion.
