Create a Board of Directors

Your board of directors will oversee your organization's operations.

Sometimes, they help keep the balance, ensuring the non-profit stays true to its mission. With that in mind, recruit people you trust who are passionate about your cause, are skilled, and have the expertise to help your organization grow and succeed.

Choose a Name and Register

Select the name of your nonprofit organization and register it with your state.

Be sure to check that there aren’t any organizations with the same name, so it might take a little time to check. Once that’s done, properly register the name.
