FAVORITE THING ABOUT BEING ON THE FARM:

Enjoying the beauty and uniqueness of each day – no matter how challenging it can be at times.

FAVORITE FARM MEMORY:

By far my favorite memory from our ranch is the joy that my five children experienced by spending their days on the ranch and learning about the land and animal husbandry.

CURRENT FARM CHALLENGES :

The drought situation in California is quite challenging, however, our vineyards are extremely resilient and over the last several years we have been “training” the vines to adapt to dry farming. The main problem from the drought is the lack of adequate feed for the cattle and the constant fire danger.

WHAT I KNOW NOW THAT I WISH I KNEW WHEN I FIRST STARTED FARMING:

I learned a lot over the past few years from working with the AgriFinancial team on strategizing financial growth. I wish I had this kind of partner when I first started the vineyards and winery.

"Nothing is more satisfying than to be able to work outdoors with your hands and to witness the results of your hard work in the final product, which for us is our wine."
