CROPS RAISED: Corn and Soybeans.

FAVORITE THING ABOUT BEING ON THE FARM:

First and foremost, getting to work alongside, and learn from my Grandpa and Dad. Also, working alongside others on our farm operation - from employees, to landlords, to service and input suppliers.

FAVORITE FARM MEMORY:

Growing a bumper crop! In 2020, I grew a plot of 303 bushel per acre corn. It’s fun to be able to implement agronomic changes and hopefully watch those changes help to grow a better crop.

WHAT I KNOW NOW THAT I WISH I DID WHEN I FIRST STARTED FARMING:

Mother nature, markets, and other farm business aspects throw a lot of curveballs our way, and being able to quickly adapt is something I wish I had a better handle on when I started farming. However, most of this naturally comes with experience.

“BEING NOTICED AND ACKNOWLEDGED BY PAST OR RETIRING FARMERS AND LANDOWNERS THAT TRUST US TO TEND TO THEIR FARM GROUND IS THE GREATEST REWARD FROM FARMING.”
