


To commemorate Cornerstone’s 20th anniversary, the firm engaged in a “Day of Giving” campaign to address food insecurity in the US by donating $205,100 to 14 food banks across the country. In addition to the monetary donation, Cornerstone employees in DC and our 13 state offices spent Friday, September 16 volunteering at the community food banks that received a donation from the firm.
In D.C., Cornerstone donated $77,200 to SHARE Food Network, a community based organization dedicated to offering its clients healthy, nutritious groceries at a roughly 50% discount Cornerstone team members in the D.C. office spent the day packing more than 4,000 10 pound boxes of food for local families. Our state offices provided similar support for the food banks in their communities

In late July, Cornerstone colleagues Stacy Rich, Chris Hodgson and Dylan Mooers celebrated the passage of the CHIPS and Science Act with our client the Semiconductor Industry Association The law provides historic investment in domestic manufacturing of microprocessors and strengthens American innovation and competitiveness. Congratulations to all of Cornerstone’s semiconductor clients who are positively impacted by the passage of this critical legislation, including the Semiconductor Industry Association, Samsung, Analog Devices and Ampere
In July, Cornerstone's Public Affairs team helped organize and execute our client Goldman Sachs' 10,000 Small Businesses Summit, a three day event in Washington, D.C. and the largest ever gathering of small business owners. The Summit offered small business owners an opportunity to meet directly with lawmakers to share what policies can best support Main Street businesses.
This fall, Cornerstone proudly participated in the 51st anniversary celebration of the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) Foundation's Annual Legislative Conference, the “leading policy conference on issues impacting African Americans and the global Black community”
To commemorate this historic milestone, Cornerstone Government Affairs hosted a reception to honor the African American staff members of Capitol Hill With more than 300 attendees from government, nonprofit and private sectors, the reception was a great success
Cornerstone colleagues Susan Sweat, Lily Max Cooke, Jonathan Miller, Ph.D., J.D. and Lizzie Messer attended the Military Health System Research Symposium (MHSRS) and witnessed firsthand the latest military unique research and development, including some of the impressive technology of some of our defense health clients
This year, we had 12 clients at the meeting, six of which are exclusively focused on defense health. The conference was the largest it has ever been (3,700 attendees) and was a great success for our Cornerstone clients
In September, Carlos Jackson, a principal in our Washington, DC office, was featured on a panel at the Better Medicare Alliance Conference to discuss advancing health equity within the Medicare Advantage program
Cornerstone's Public Affairs team, led by TJ Tatum, is proud to have worked on Emmy award winning short, "The Makers," which tells the story of Bollinger Shipyards 75 year journey from a small machine shop on the banks of Bayou Lafourche to becoming the largest privately owned shipyard in the United States
Cornerstone's Georgia office was recognized by the James Magazine as #3 in Government Affairs Firms (Non Law). Each member of our Georgia team was individually recognized for their accomplishments as government affairs professionals, ranking among the top 30 lobbyists in the state of Georgia.
Cornerstone Springfield colleague Will Cousineau had an outstanding performance in the Midwest Everest 50 mile race during the month of September, logging over 16,000 feet of vertical gain on the course and breaking the course record by 1 hour and 18 minutes. Will finished in first place, with a time of 11 hours and 41 minutes Jamie Geysbrook Photography captured moments from the day, including several shots of Will with his family who came to support him during the race.
