20TH ANNIVERSARY CHARITABLE GIVING CAMPAIGN 2022 marks an important milestone for Cornerstone, as we celebrate our firm's 20th Anniversary. We will be acknowledging this milestone through a dedicated, year-long charitable giving campaign focused on food insecurity.

In 2021...

Cornerstone supported more than 250 organizations

Employees contributed $80,000+ through charitable giving initiatives and sponsorship opportunities

VOLUNTEERISM Our team maintains active participation within and around our communities, serving in leadership positions and volunteer positions for local, regional and national organizations, including Teach for America, Friends of ROAM, Capitol Area Food Bank, St. Coletta of Greater Washington and more.

EMPLOYEE-DIRECTED SUPPORT Cornerstone's Community Engagement Program provides each employee with $1,000 annually to support non-profit organizations of their choosing.

Through this program, we support a broad set of organizations and causes including, homelessness, food insecurity, diversity, veterans' benefits, disaster relief, medical research, animal rescue, education and more.

CLIENT HIGHLIGHTS We are proud to support not-for-profit organizations, corporations, trade associations, small businesses and startups, coalitions and more. Below are a few client highlights.

Fast Company recognized the Land O'Lakes, Inc. American Connection Project on their annual World's 50 Most Innovative Companies 2022 list. This project focuses on awareness, advocacy and action to close the digital divide and build stronger communities for the future.

Anduril Industries, a U.S. defense technology business, expanded its unmanned capabilities to the undersea domain by acquiring unmanned underwater vehicle (UUV) provider, Dive Technologies.

Additionally, Dive received a National Offshore Wind Consortium grant prior to the acquisition, distinguishing the company as a leader in the renewable energy space.

Communities In Schools (CIS) received a $133.5 million donation from philanthropist MacKenzie Scott, which will help CIS continue to make an impact in schools across the country, ensuring that every student has the resources and support to be able to succeed in school and future endeavors.

Our Louisiana team, including Nial Patel, Mike Enlow, Stephen Ledet, Gabrielle Kees, Paul Rainwater and Camp Kaufman, traveled to D.C. for the Washington Mardi Gras celebration.

PJ Hogan and Stacy Rich attended the 2022 Wish Ball on behalf of our client Make-AWish Mid-Atlantic. The event made history by raising more than $1 million over the course of the night for local children facing critical illnesses.

Cornerstone's Heather Molino joined the National Security Institute's "Front and Center: NatSec Women in Media" panel, part of WINS Media Festival featuring women in the national security industry.

AWARDS & RECOGNITIONS Mississippi Top 50 Camille Young was named to Mississipi Top 50, a list of people deemed the most influential leaders in the state. Camille serves on Cornerstone's Jackson team, representing clients across the state of Mississippi.

2022 Power Players in Government & Lobbying Delora Sanchez Ifekauche and PJ Hogan, two of Cornerstone's Maryland team members, were named to Maryland's The Daily Record Power List for their accomplishments as lobbyists and successes on behalf of clients.

MSU Alumni Association Honoree Mississippi team member, Elliott Flaggs, received The Reveille 25 award from the Mississippi State University Alumni Association.

This award honors alumni who are "answering the call” of the university’s mission for educational excellence, and inspiring others through the positive impact they are making in their communities and professions.
