Connecting those who care with those who need FY 2 01 8 A n n ua l R e port
Dear Friends, The Community Foundation of Johnson County was founded nearly 20 years ago on the premise that by bringing together passionate, generous people from all walks of life to meet the needs of the community, all our residents would benefit. This belief still rings true today. As our charitable assets have grown through the years, so has our ability to help bridge the gaps for so many in our Johnson County communities. In this annual report, we are pleased to share our new logo. We believe this new design depicts our longheld commitment to connecting those who care with those who need and the strong relationships we have with our donors, our nonprofit partners and the Johnson County communities we serve. We know your giving is personal and a conscious decision you make to uplift others through your generosity. We are honored to be your partner in philanthropy — helping you be more, do more and give more.
At the center of everything we do is heartfelt gratitude for each and every donor, nonprofit partner and volunteer who makes our work possible. Thank you for your trust and support as we continue to find unique and meaningful ways to connect those who care with those who need.
On behalf of our board of directors and staff, we are grateful for your efforts to better the lives of those around you, efforts which strengthen the communities in which you live, work and play for generations to come. For all the ways you give and care, thank you, Sarah Maiers Board President Shelly Maharry Executive Director
