Longboarding is the act of riding on a Longboard. Longboarding also has competitive races down hill, with some riders reaching speeds exceeding 50 miles per hour. A longboard varies in shape and size unlike its set counterpart, the skateboard, and has more stability, traction and durability due to larger wheel size and lower wheel durometers.

Many, but not all longboards, use trucks (axles) that contain different geometric parameters than a skateboard as well.

These factors and their variation have given way to a variety of disciplines, functions and purposes for a longboard.

MAKING DREAMS A REALITY In 1977, Jane gained her first major role on the TV soap opera One Life to Live (1968), where she played "Melinda Cramer Janssen" until 1981, returning briefly to reprise the role in 1983. She also starred on the venerable soap opera The Doctors (1963).

Jane's other TV roles included a stint on Falcon Crest (1981) as "Meredith Braxton" from 1986 to 1987 and as "Agent Shannon Reed" for the revival of the series Mission: Impossible (1988), which was shot in Australia. She also guest-starred on many TV series.

Jane relocated to Australia after filming Mission: Impossible (1988) Down Under, marrying businessman Stephen Haines. They have two sons, Sam and Harry.

Jane`s Australian TV roles include Cluedo (1992) (the British and Australian name of the board game known as "Clue" in the United States).

She also had a guest-starring role in Snowy River: The McGregor Saga (1993). In the 1990s, she launched a stage career and cabaret act, including the one-woman show "The Love Goddess: Rita Hayworth".

Jane is best known for her role as the evil reptilian Visitor leader "Diana" in the NBC miniseries V (1983), its sequel V: The Final Battle (1984), the subsequent TV series V (1984), and the last season of the latest series V (2009)

Since then Jane has concentrated on her Singing and spending time with her sister Alice Badler.

Jane is currently filming The Lies We Tell Ourselves a comedy by Saara Lamberg

The FIA Formula One World Championship has been the premier form of racing since the inaugural season in 1950, although other Formula One races were regularly held until 1983. The "formula", designated in the name, refers to a set of rules, to which all participants' cars must conform.

We caught up with Heidi and asked her a bout her life in the limelight

Q: What do you love most about wrestling?

Wrestling is like being a superhero and having superhero powers! I also love the idea of bloodsport and fighting for something.

Q: 1. What is your biggest achievement to date?

Becoming the first foreign member and first ever foreign tag champion in Sendai Girls in Japan.

Q: What do your family think about the wrestling?

They support my ambitions and are proud of my accomplishments but sometimes find it hard to watch as they worry it’s dangerous.

Q: What would you say was the biggest herbal you have had to overcome so fare?

Believing in myself, pushing past self doubt and ignoring the naysayers along the way.

Q: If you could do any other job in the world, what would it be and why?

Wrestling is my dream job but maybe in another world I’d be a movie star

Q: Who would you say was your inspiration and why?

In pro wrestling, Chyna. She was the first female wrestler I laid eyes on as a child she inspired me in so many ways. Her power, strength and vigour.

Q: What is next for you Wrestling or Modelling wise?

To be at the top of my game!

Q: Is it hard coming from the UK and wrestling abroad and if so, witch countries are the hardest?

It can be challenging at times but that is all part of the fun and thrill! Adapting to any environment is enjoyable for me, I love learning new cultures and new ways of life, pushing my own boundaries Q: If you could visit one place in the world you have never been before were would it be and why?

I’d like to visit Egypt because I’m fascinated by the Egyptians! I’d like to explore Peru too Q: If had any advice for a 10-year-old you, what would it be? follow your dreams and your vision. It gives some examples of good and bad things. Although, as far as I am concerned, those examples are a little bit difficult to be understood by children, even too miserable ones, they have happened and still, happen.

“Can happiness wear what sadness and pain have made?” said the king (p. 7)

What is the moral of the story?

It seems that the young king had already realized his mistakes, and he knew better that in this world there were not only fine things. And also, it tells us that we cannot sacrifice other people only for our wealth or benefit.

This fairy tale explores several themes, such as individuality, leadership, and compassion through the journey of a young boy who finds out he is heir to the throne. The story fulfills the aim to present stories of “coming of age” and “getting of wisdom.”

In this issue, we’d like to interview the current global J-pop sensation Itsuki Takahashi, known internationally as KENKYUSHA, regarding his humble beginnings as a son of the owner of a modest sushi restaurant in his hometown and his development as one of the most prolific J-pop artists in the early 21st century.

12 CRAZY ADVENTURE CHALLENGES IN 12 MONTHS RAISING MONEY FOR THE VETERANS FOUNDATION UK Jenny Price is the all-action hero that never stops!

Maj Jen Price has been a serving officer in the British Army for the last 10 years and is currently fundraising for the Veterans’ Foundation by attempting a series of extreme challenges in 2022!

Her solo endeavour consists of 12 multidiscipline challenges all in quick succession. The challenges include the Devizes to Westminster international canoe race, an ironman, a multistage ultra-marathon, climbing the Matterhorn, Kilimanjaro, and Lands’ End to John O’Groats. None of the challenges are events she has completed before and, in total, she will cover over 2500km (not including all of the training!) and climb 2 of the 7 Summits.

So far Jen has raised £27,000, which is incredible, but her aim is to raise £100,000 so, she would love to receive any help you can offer!

So far she has successfully completed 6 of 12 challenges having just summited Kilimanjaro, with little time to spare for the next one: Ironman Vitoria Gastiez.

Jen said, "the Kilimanjaro summit hike was one of the hardest things I have ever done due to the effect of altitude on my body! This is closely followed by the 29 hours of non stop paddling that took place on challenge 4, which nearly broke me!”.

The Veterans’ Foundation (VF) is one of the country’s fastest-growing military charities; they work with hundreds of smaller, less well known, charities and charitable organisations across the UK that share their passion: to provide a better life for our Armed Forces family who are in need. The VF supports 5 charity hubs: combatting physical injury, family and remembrance, mental health, homelessness and poverty, care and wellbeing, education and employment. To date the VF has supported over 300 charities and has provided over £10 million in grants.
