SHORT FILM SYNOPSIS

Erica Orofino is an award-winning filmmaker whose work focuses on the female perspective, sexuality, complex familial relationships, and mental illness. Erica’s latest dramatic short, She Keeps Me, won Best Canadian Short at the 2022 Pendance Film Festival. Her work has been supported by the Ontario and Canada Arts Councils. Erica was a Directors’ Lab resident at the Canadian Film Centre in 2022.

Desperate to keep her promise to host the best superhero party for her 6 year old, young mother Sid, a sex worker, takes extreme measures and books a last-minute client with a dark fetish.
