Alsseny Camara is a Black Guinea-Canadian bilingual (English/French) actor/writer. He’s best known for his role as Anton in the award-winning feature Brother (TIFF '22), winner of 12 Canadian Screen Awards in 2023. His additional film and TV credits include Shadow, The Expanse, Forbidden: Dying for Love and Broke and Famous. He is passionate about storytelling and writing stories that are relatable and diverse, such as the short film Thierno (2023). A er graduating from the Screen Acting Academy, Alsseny continued honing his skills at the Armstrong Studio, Developed Script Analysis, LB Acting Studio and The Lighthouse Studio.

ISABELLA SHIBUTA

Isabella Shibuta is a Toronto-based Japanese-Brazilian and Polish actor. Her recent film and TV credits include Designing Christmas (Discovery+) and a recurring role in Right Under My Roof (BellTV). While in residence at the Canadian Film Centre (CFC) in the CBC Actors Conservatory, Isabella wrote and starred in the film Melanie and starred in the film Gerry. A Theatre Performance alumna from George Brown College, Isabella has worked onstage with established houses like Tarragon Theatre. Isabella is originally from O awa, Ontario and is a graduate of Canterbury High School’s Drama program.

IVY MILLER

Ivy Miller is a biracial actor of Vietnamese and European descent from Calgary, Alberta, currently based in Toronto, Ontario. She recently completed a residency at the Canadian Film Centre as part of the 2022-23 Actors Conservatory cohort, where she wrote and starred in the short film Violet. In 2019, she wrote, directed, and starred in the short film Phone Call, which won Best Comedy Super Short at the Alternative Film Festival in Toronto. The next year, she directed and improvised solo in Izzy’s Vlog, which she created in the span of a month. Her other acting credits include a series regular role in web series Summer’s Monster, the lead in short films Faded and Stages of Recovery, and a supporting role in the feature Events Transpiring Before, During, and A er a High School

Basketball Game. Ivy also holds a BA in Creative Writing from the University of Winchester.

Kat Khan is a Toronto-based actor and filmmaker. She recently made her feature film debut starring in Verona (Telefilm/Talent To Watch, KCFF '23), and plays Katie in the cast of Gay Mean Girls Season 2. Select additional film, TV and theatre credits include The Handmaid’s Tale, Fear Thy Roommate, TallBoyz, Ghostwriters, Be er at Texting (Reelworld '22), Limbo (CFC), HB2-ME (The Carousel Players) and TOKA (Theatre Passe Muraille). She was the recipient of the 2022 IPF Development Fund and is also 1/25 participants in the 2023 Netflix - Ban Diversity of Voices Pitch Program. Leishe Meyboom is an actress and writer from Toronto. Her credits include Abby on Netflix's hit series Locke and Key, with additional appearances in Hudson and Rex, Nurses and Glamorous. She trained at renowned acting studios, including the Lee Strasberg Institute in New York, Pro Actors Lab, and The Dirt Underneath. Additionally, she holds a BFA in Art History from Concordia University. When not on set or in class, Leishe can be found at The Cra Self Tape studio, where she shares her expertise and experience as an acting coach to aspiring actors.
