Mid-rise Residential Building This project is oered to provide a lower than average housing cost. This building oers studio units as well as one-bedroom apartments that vary from 700 to 900 square feet of livible space. These units are designed to attract young millenials, and post-college professionals looking to stay in the city at an aordable rate. Furthermore, this residential building also provides single-family housing within the city center with its two-bedroom apartments with 1100 to 1200 square feet of space. My intend is to create a community within a ďŹ tted community targetting dierent social and cultural groups. An elevated courtyard is wrapped around by the building providing a sense of purpose and dignity diďŹƒcult to ďŹ nd in any regular residential high-rise building or hotel. In addition, a common public area at the second oor opens onto the courtyard making it a central recreational amenity complimented by a ďŹ tness center, coe shops and other retail spaces.
