District Spotlight – Valders Area School District INSTRUCTIONAL AND SYSTEMIC ENHANCEMENTS Through a strategic partnership with CESA 7 specialists, the Valders School District has undertaken a comprehensive suite of instructional and systemic enhancements. The district has prioritized high-quality instruction by navigating the rigorous evaluation and adoption of new Math and ELA resources, ensuring students have access to top-tier learning tools.

This work is anchored in the WiMLSS framework, creating a data-driven, multi-leveled support system designed to ensure that both the learning environment and the educators within it are fully equipped to foster student growth. This commitment to excellence extends into the Special Education department, where intensive training on College and Career Ready (CCR) IEPs is bridging the gap between administrative compliance and meaningful classroom inclusion.

By balancing these core curriculum updates with specialized training and EL compliance, Valders is successfully aligning its systems to meet the needs of every learner. This holistic approach ensures a sustainable foundation for excellence, positioning the district to support high-level student achievement and growth for years to come.
