MEET THIS WEEK’S VALUED TEAM MEMBER

I am currently completing my fourth year as a School-Based Coach at Wrightstown and Ashwaubenon High Schools through NEWYA In this role, I guide and support students as they explore career pathways and secure youth apprenticeship opportunities aligned with their goals It is a privilege to work with students each day, and I find it incredibly rewarding to watch them gain confidence and achieve success in placements that will positively impact their futures

Prior to joining NEWYA/CESA 7, I dedicated 16 years to NWTC, where I served in a variety of roles focused on supporting students and strengthening connections between education and community resources During that time, I worked closely with students to help them access the tools and services they needed to achieve their goals I began my career as an Employment Specialist at the Door County Job Center, where I discovered my passion for career development and empowering individuals to pursue meaningful pathways

I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling from Lakeland University and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Wisconsin–Stout

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family. I am married with a 17 year old son and a 15 year old daughter, and a dog, and you will often find me at a weekend volleyball tournament or relaxing “Up North ”

The partnership between CESA 7 and Luxemburg-Casco has centered on strengthening instruction through intentional, district-wide co-planning in the core of teaching and learning Building on the collaborative planning structures already in place across the district, this work has focused on deepening and refining those systems to ensure they consistently support inclusive, rigorous lesson design for all learners.

Throughout the year, whole-staff professional learning and targeted coaching with primary and high school teams have strengthened the elements of highly effective co-planning teams. Educators are clarifying essential learning targets, identifying the most critical standards, anticipating potential barriers, and embedding supports proactively within lesson design. By leveraging the expertise of every professional in the room general educators, special educators, and support staff teams are designing cohesive instruction grounded in highleverage teaching practices that have the greatest impact on student achievement

“Luxemburg-Casco has strong collaborative foundations in place,” shared Jessica Cappeart, CESA 7 Special Education Specialist. “This work is about elevating that collaboration moving from good planning conversations to intentional co-design that ensures access, engagement, and high expectations for every student.”

From the district perspective, this partnership aligns directly with Luxemburg-Casco’s long-term vision: establishing a culture of collective responsibility where all educators share ownership for every student’s learning to design less erships betwe
