Lynn Wagner is the Coordinator of the Learning for Independence (LFI) Program, a collaborative initiative between CESA 7 and Northeast Wisconsin Technical College (NWTC) in Green Bay.

MEET THIS WEEK’S VALUED TEAM MEMBER

INDEPENDENCE

Over her three years in this role, Lynn has driven program development by collaborating with college and high school administrators, referring school districts, and community agencies like the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR). She provides comprehensive support to LFI instructors and works directly with students to teach courses and meet daily needs.

Prior to leading LFI, Lynn spent over 25 years as an occupational therapist, most recently with the Pulaski Community School District. She is also a certified Executive Functions Consultant (EFC). Her extensive background informs LFI's mission to help students build essential independent living, vocational, post-secondary education, social, and emotional selfregulation skills. For Lynn, the most rewarding aspect of her work is watching students build lifelong friendships, autonomy, self-confidence, and self-determination on campus.

District Spotlight - Oneida Nation School System STRENGTHENING STUDENT SUPPORT SERVICES & H O N O R I N G C U LT U R A L I D E N T I T Y Shekóli! (Hello!)

Oneida Nation School System has a longstanding partnership with CESA 7 grounded in a shared commitment to supporting students, staff, and culturally responsive practices. Superintendent Shari Mousseau has shared that she highly values the ongoing professional learning opportunities CESA 7 provides, and Oneida staff have participated in both onsite and regional trainings to support continued learning and professional growth.

CESA 7 has also partnered with the district to provide itinerant support services, including deaf and hard-of-hearing services, audiology, and school psychology. Special Education Coordinator Fay Lemense has been a vital partner in strengthening special education supports and collaborating with CESA 7 staff to meet the needs of students and educators.

Together, Oneida Nation School System and CESA 7 continue to strengthen student support services while honoring the school’s rich cultural identity and commitment to the Oneida language and traditions.

This partnership reflects a shared dedication to meaningful relationships, inclusive practices, continuous growth, and responsive support for students and staff across the district.

Board packets, handbooks, policies, forms, classroom materials, meeting documents, and resources shared through websites or LMS environments all help keep school communities informed, connected, and supported. But as more of that information lives online, districts are being asked to think differently about accessibility and how easily every person can access what they need.

DocAccess gives districts a practical way to make document accessibility easier to manage. Instead of putting the full burden on already-busy staff, DocAccess helps turn online documents into more accessible, web-friendly content that supports transparency, inclusion, learning, and evolving ADA expectations.

Tammy's career has been defined by resilience, dedication, and a genuine passion for supporting education and student success. Along the way, she built lasting relationships, embraced new opportunities, and made a meaningful impact on countless colleagues, partners, and communities.

As she begins this next adventure, we wish her plenty of time with family (especially her grandkids) and friends, grand-horses and grand-dogs, volunteer opportunities, travel, and all the experiences that make life rich and rewarding.
