Cerys Mai Photography was established in the Summer of 2024, built on genuine foundations with the agricultural industry and a lifelong passion for photography. Established by a young farmer with first-hand experience in both livestock production and showing, the business was founded with one clear purpose — to professionally capture and market livestock at a standard that reflects the true level of work behind it. In agriculture, success is the result of early mornings, long days, financial investment, selective breeding, and relentless dedication. As someone raised in the industry, I understand exactly what goes into producing quality stock — and more importantly, how said quality should be presented. Cerys Mai Photography is not just about taking photographs. The business focuses on creating powerful and eye-catching visual assets that enhance reputation, strengthen branding, and add commercial value. Whether at shows, sales, on the farm, or for promotional use, every image is produced with a deep understanding of livestock handling, positioning, and presentation whilst ensuring the animals are showcased correctly, confidently, and professionally. With years of hands-on experience preparing and exhibiting livestock, I understand the pride behind every animal. My work is dedicated to reflecting that standard at its very best.

THE FACE BEHIND THE BUSINESS
I’m Cerys — a third-generation dairy, beef and sheep farmer from West Wales. I’m the face behind Cerys Mai Photography, based in a small rural village just minutes from the coast. I balance farm life with university, where I study Veterinary Biological Sciences and Livestock Production. Combining academic knowledge with real hands-on experience gives me a genuine, thorough understanding of the livestock industry — something that naturally carries through into my photography. Alongside studying and running Cerys Mai Photography, I’m heavily involved in our family business, Dyfroedd Livestock. Breeding pedigree and commercial cattle, travelling across the country preparing animals for the show and sale ring. Attention to detail, presentation and bringing out the very best in every animal is part of my everyday life — and that same standard defines my work behind the camera. Growing up surrounding agriculture provided me with a deep respect for the industry and the people in it. Photography became a way for me to showcase not just livestock, but the pride, hard work and personality behind every success story. As a person, I’m outgoing, bubbly and always up for a laugh. I love meeting new people, socialising, and bringing positive energy wherever I go — whether that’s ringside at a show or working with clients on farm. I’m driven, ambitious and don’t do things by halves, but I also believe business should feel enjoyable and genuine. When I’m not on the farm or behind the lens, you’ll probably find me at the beach, catching up with friends, or ordering my favourite Aperol Spritz.

TERMS & CONDITIONS 1. Service Agreement By booking with Cerys Mai Photography (“the Photographer”), the client (“you”) enters into a legally binding service agreement governed by these Terms & Conditions. These terms apply to all services provided, including photography, design, and marketing services. 2. Booking & Deposit To secure your booking, an 80% non-refundable deposit must be paid within 48 hours of booking. Failure to do so will result in cancellation of the booking. A completed consent form is required to confirm and secure all bookings. 3. Payment Card Authorisation By providing your payment card details, you authorise Cerys Mai Photography to securely store your card information where applicable and to charge your card for agreed services, outstanding balances, authorised additional services, or late payments. All card details are handled securely in accordance with data protection laws. 4. Cancellation & Rescheduling Cancellations must be made with a minimum of 7 days’ notice. Where sufficient notice is given, deposits may be transferred to a rescheduled session at the Photographer’s discretion. Cancellations made with less than 7 days’ notice may result in loss of the deposit. 5. Responsibility During Sessions For all photography sessions—including animal, wedding, family, event, agricultural, and commercial photography—the client is responsible for the behaviour and actions of themselves, participants, and animals. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cerys Mai Photography accepts no responsibility for injury, loss, or damage to people, animals, or property during the session. 6. Waiver of Liability The client expressly releases Cerys Mai Photography from all claims, damages, or liabilities arising from accidents or incidents occurring during or in connection with the photography session, including claims arising from negligence where legally permissible. 7. Scope of Services Cerys Mai Photography provides professional services including, but not limited to: Wedding photography Family and event photography Agricultural photography Commercial photography Design and marketing services Only services agreed in writing are included in the booking.
TERMS & CONDITIONS 8. Proof Approval, Changes & Refunds (Design & Marketing Services) Where design, branding, marketing, or creative services are provided, the client will be supplied with a proof, mock-up, or draft for approval. Once a proof or design has been approved in writing (including via email, message, or digital confirmation), the work is deemed accepted and completed. After approval: No further changes, revisions, or alterations are included unless agreed in writing and subject to additional fees. No refunds will be issued for approved work, as the service has been completed in accordance with the agreed specification. This clause does not affect the client’s statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Refunds or remedies are not available for changes of mind, personal preference, or stylistic decisions made after approval has been given. 9. Extra Charges & Additional Services Additional services such as extra edits, retouching, mockups, revisions beyond the agreed package, marketing materials, rush delivery, extended travel, or special equipment may incur additional charges. All additional services and fees must be agreed in writing before work begins. 10. Sale of Goods Any physical or digital goods sold—including prints, albums, digital files, or marketing materials—must be paid for in full before delivery. Ownership of physical goods transfers upon delivery. Digital goods remain subject to licensing terms. 11. Payment & Delivery No images, files, or goods will be delivered until all outstanding fees have been paid in full. Late payment may result in delays. 12. Completion of Services Services are considered completed once the agreed photography session has taken place and final images or deliverables have been prepared in line with the agreed package. 13. Confirmation of Delivery Delivery is deemed complete once digital files are supplied via download link or physical goods have been delivered or collected. The client is responsible for confirming receipt. 14. Digital Media Storage The client is responsible for the safe storage and backup of all purchased digital files. Cerys Mai Photography is not liable for loss or corruption of files after delivery. 15. Image Usage & Copyright – Client All images remain the intellectual property of Cerys Mai Photography and are protected under UK copyright law. Web-size images are licensed for personal use only. Web-size images must not be used for print, advertising, resale, or commercial purposes. High-resolution commercial-use images must be purchased separately. Images may not be resold, redistributed, or used for profit beyond the agreed licence. Unauthorised use may result in legal action. 16. Use of Images by Photographer Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Cerys Mai Photography reserves the right to use images and videos for portfolio use, social media, press, and promotional materials. The Photographer is not liable for third-party sharing once images are published online. 17. Vouchers All vouchers must be redeemed before their stated expiry date. Expired vouchers are void and non-refundable.
IMAGE USE & COPYWRIGHT Image Usage & Copyright Notice 1.All images captured by Cerys Mai Photography remain the intellectual property of the photographer and are protected under UK copyright law. 2.Web-size images purchased are licensed for personal use only, such as sharing on social media platforms, websites, or online portfolios. These files are optimised for web display and do not include rights for printing, advertising, resale, or any commercial reproduction. 3.If you intend to use any images for print materials, advertising, promotional content, or marketing, you must purchase the corresponding high-resolution commercial-use files. These images include the appropriate licence for business and promotional use. 4.Images, whether web-size or high-resolution, must not be resold, redistributed, or used to generate profit beyond the scope of the original licence. 5.The use of web-size images for print, resale, or commercial purposes without the correct licence constitutes a breach of copyright and may result in legal action. 6.By purchasing from Cerys Mai Photography, you agree to respect all copyright and usage terms. These conditions are designed to protect both your brand and the integrity of the creative work.
