Starbucks support continues!
Starbucks Managers Team held their monthly meeting at the CEO/Weinberg Northeast Food Bank in August. They also packed food boxes for local senior citizens who are enrolled in the Senior Box Program. The food bank is also a recipient of The Starbucks Foundation Community Grant. As always, we thank Starbucks for their generosity and continued support!
Tasty treats at local Farmers Markets!
Every week, Farmer’s Markets in Wilkes-Barre, Carbondale, and Pittston welcome our Nutrition Educators! Last month, visitors were treated to delectable dishes including Cabbage Roll Soup, Easy Tomato Sauce, Spiced Plums, Zucchini Fritters, and Orange Creamsicle Smoothies.
Senior Saturdays!
The second Saturday of each month has been deemed Senior Saturday at our Amber Lane, Wilkes-Barre location. Our staff, along with amazing volunteers assist with the distribution of Senior Boxes In addition, recipients receive fresh produce such as delicious zucchini, corn, and potatoes!

Benco Dental is one of our long-time supporters! A wonderful team of associates donated their time on a Saturday to pack boxes for seniors in four counties The company also donated toothbrushes and toothpaste for adults and children. We are so appreciative and thankful for their ongoing support!
A day with EOC Volunteers!
This fabulous group of volunteers from Educational Opportunity Centers, Inc. (EOC) packed boxes for the Senior Food Box Program EOC provides FREE services to encourage and assist adults and high school students interested in continuing their education Join us in thanking them for donating their time and talents to help seniors in our area.
