We thank UFCW Community Federal Credit Union for this generous donation! It will be designated to support the Weinberg Regional Food Bank that collects food from the entire food system and distributes it to the community via a network of more than 300 partner organizations that are feeding our neighbors facing hunger and food insecurity. The donation will be used to support wholesale food purchase and food bank operations

Introducing Brighter Bites!
A new program called Brighter Bites is underway! Brighter Bites is the nutrition education component of Children’s Produce Markets. Recently, our Nutrition Education Team visited Riverside Elementary School during the Children's Produce Market and made a delicious Turkey Veggie Chili for the students and their families to sample
Any school that hosts Children's Produce Markets can request Brighter Bites to take place during the distribution. Reach out to the food bank at 570-908-2222 for more information
We Love Visits from Local Students!
Look at all of these beautiful smiles! We had an amazing volunteer group from Wilkes University, including students in Wilkes Honors, Wilkes Pre-Professional Health Society, and Wilkes University Programming Board! In addition, hard-working volunteer groups from Johnson College, Lackawanna College, and Misericordia University spent shifts packing boxes of supplemental food for seniors in four counties. We thank them for their uplifting spirit and positivity!
