New Volunteer Alert!

These awesome Good Shepherd Academy basketball team players joined us one evening to pack senior food boxes. They showcased their amazing team spirit and teamwork! We thank them for their hard work and concern for others in the community.

Chewy Food Drive!

Once again Chewy came through! They donated 265 lbs. of non-perishable food itemss! This will go a long way in helping families in our communities! Join us in thanking them for their ongoing support and dedication!

Nutrition Ed visits New Roots!

Two of our Nutrition Educators, Kathy and Margie, recently held a class for clients at New Roots Recovery Support at Heartwood Center in Hazleton.

The lesson was on “Stretching Your Food Dollars,” and the delicious recipe was Chicken Pasta Salad. All of the participants enjoyed the lesson, as well as the food!

Our volunteers are THE best!

Talk about energy! This wonderful group of Riverside School District volunteers spent time bagging loose apples and making Senior Food Program boxes at the food bank. We are so appreciative of their teamwork, and their support for those in need in our community.

This festive and fun group of volunteers from Walmart did a fabulous job packing senior boxes! We can always count on them to step up when the need arises!

This amazing team from AstraZeneca visited the Weinberg Food Bank for a shift to pack senior food boxes. We are so thankful for their teamwork and support!
