New volunteer alert! This wonderful group called "Quieter Ways" joined us on a cold January Saturday morning to serve the community. We thank them for giving their time, skills, and dedication to support our mission! We look forward to seeing them again very soon!

Please join us in giving a huge "THANK YOU" to Weis Markets for their donation of $50,000 to the CEO Weinberg Food Bank! This was made possible through the 2024 Fight Hunger Campaign in which customer donations that were made at all store locations. Weis also included a corporate donation, which will go a long way in fighting hunger in our communities. We are extremely grateful for this partnership!

Misericordia University Returns!

Misericordia University comes through again!

This fun and energetic group pulled together to fill food boxes for seniors in our community. We thank them for their positivity in serving their neighbors!

Student Food Drive!

How about this service project!

Junior '25 team Food Fighters from Leadership Northeast hosted a oneday food drive at Old Forge High School. In total, they collected over 750 pounds of non-perishable food items! Well done! Please join us in thanking these servant leaders!

Microgreens benefit the Food Bank!

Many thanks to Back Mountain Microgreens for this amazing donation to the CEO/Weinberg Food Bank! This was made possible through sale of their delicious Chef Kim McLendon's Mission Microgreen Mix. This vibrant blend was sold through December, and co-owners Luke and Gail Marek donated 20% of the proceeds.

We are so fortunate for this partnership, and we also appreciate The Lands at Hillside Farms for carrying the mix in their store!

Hot goodness served on a cold day!

One brisk evening, our Nutrition Educators, Kathy and Rachel, provided yummy samples of Three Can Chili to visitors of the Wyoming United Presbyterian Church food pantry in Wyoming, PA.. It is a delicious, healthy, hot treat that keeps you warm on these cold winter days! Try the recipe at home and let us know if you like it!

Continued support from Penn East FCU! We have a wonderful relationship with Penn East FCU! This is their 4th year collecting nonperishables and monetary donations for CEO/Weinberg Food Bank. In one month, 6 locations collected 450 pounds of food pantry items and $1,000 in cash donations! We thank them for continuing to support our mission and the community!
