Donation from Team Depot!

The Home Depot enlisted another amazing group of volunteers! Team Depot regularly visits the CEO/Weinberg Northeast Regional Food Bank, and this time they donated 1,671 pounds of Thanksgiving products and other non-perishables. Thank you to a top-notch team!

Continued Support by DEP! Our local Department of Environmental Protection Bureau of Abandoned Mine Reclamation has done it again! Six years in a row they have worked as a team to raise funds to support CEO's Annual Thanksgiving Project! Nearly $5,000 has been collected over the years. We are humbled and grateful for this commitment. .

Neiman Marcus Gives Back!

Special thanks to this amazing group from Neiman Marcus! They brought energy, and entertainment to the food bank as they packed Thanksgiving boxes! Like always, they had a blast while volunteering!

TJ Maxx Returns!

Visits from TJ Maxx happen a few times each year. This time they spent a shift filling boxes for the 45th Annual Thanksgiving Project! We thank them for their unwavering dedication and support!

Nutrition Educator Whips Up a Surprise!

Visitors to the CEO Food Pantry at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Wilkes-Barre were treated to a tasty surprise last month! Margie, one of our Nutrition Educators, whipped up a delicious pot of Creamy Pumpkin Soup for everyone to try. Clients were delighted as they enjoyed the tasty treat.

45th Annual Thanksgiving Project Wrap-Up

The 45th Annual Thanksgiving Project took place over two weekends in Hazleton, Wilkes-Barre, and Tunkhannock.

With the help of more than 1,400 volunteers who donated over 4,000 hours, we provided all the ingredients for a full Thanksgiving Dinner to 8,297 households, made up of 28,858 people including more than 13,000 children!

Without the generosity of these amazing volunteers and sponsors, this distribution would not have been possible.
