Ye Watchers and Ye Holy Ones COLLECT
Holy God, present in our midst yet beyond all comprehension, by your light, we see light; by your healing, we are made whole; by your mercy we know your greatness. Turn your gaze upon our weakness and show us the way of your love that we may live with unveiled faces, through Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.

If Ye Love Me
If ye love me, keep my commandments, and I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another comforter, that he may abide with you for ever: even the spirit of truth. And ye know him, for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless. I will come to you.

Music Note
Our closing voluntary today, Ceremonial Procession (Cortège), is from a set of three pieces improvised in 1928 by French organist and composer Louis Vierne (1870-1937) at Notre Dame in Paris, where Vierne was organist from 1900 until 1937. It was in fact during his 1,750 recital at Notre Dame that Vierne drew his last breath while seated at the console. The three pieces were transcribed in 1954 from the original recording, by Maurice Duruflé, another major French composer and organist. th
