Music Note Zanye Curry sings our Offertory Solo today. Our newest Lacy Choral Scholar, Mr. Curry is a Bass/Baritone singer and a student at Francis Marion University, where he is pursuing a Major in Mechanical Engineering and a Minor in Music, studying voice with Dr. Fran Coleman. Zanye’s love for music started at his church in his hometown of Orangeburg. He has been part of South Carolina’s All-State, American Choral Director’s Association, and District Honor Choirs, and he aspires to participate in many more choirs in the future.
Vocal Recital November 20 Join us on Wednesday, November 20, for a vocal recital featuring two of our Lacy Choral Scholars, Ashlei Jones and Dianna Wilson, accompanied by Dr. Don Grice. The recital will be held in the sanctuary at 6:15 PM and will include such beloved pieces as “I Waited for the Lord” by Felix Mendelssohn and “The King of Love My Shepherd Is” by Harry Rowe Shelley.
