2023 Central Highlands Business Excellence Awards Partnership Prospectus

Welcome

On behalf of the Central Highlands Development Corporation (CHDC), you are invited to participate in the sixth Central Highlands Business Excellence Awards.

The Central Highlands has a resilient economy based on an enviable global coal mining industry, robust agricultural and horticultural industries, a growing tourism market supported by natural attractions, major health and education services and a vast array of dynamic small-medium enterprises. Whilst all add to the region’s business profile, they also help weave the fabric of our communities.

The Awards celebrate the efforts and achievements of this diverse and dedicated business community and recognise their contribution, not only to economic vitality but to creating our strong and vibrant regional community.

Our previous Awards in 2021 attracted 119 nominations, from which 59 entries were submitted. A further 79 local businesses were nominated in the People's Choice category, with more than 4,200 votes cast. Winners were announced in front of a 300-strong audience at the Awards Gala Dinner.

CHDC was fortunate to work with more than 20 partners to deliver the Awards in 2021. This generous contribution to the event's success and to our region's business community is immensely appreciated.

We now look forward to partnering with you in 2023 to again showcase and celebrate the fantastic achievements of businesses in the Central Highlands.

Partnering with CHDC for the Business Awards is a way for Kestrel Coal Resources to show that we are part of the community, that we love being part of the community and supporting local business.

We see a lot of value in partnering with organisations like CHDC because they are strong advocates for sustainability and growth in our region, which aligns with Kestrel's goals for progressing and advancing the Central Highlands.

Many of our suppliers and contractors are based in the region and this a really good way for us to recognise those businesses who excel and celebrate their hard work and contribution to the local economy.

The 2023 Central Highlands Business Excellence Awards will be supported by a targeted, yet multifaceted promotional strategy in the eight months leading up to the Awards Gala Dinner on Saturday, 9 September in Emerald.

This will include face-to-face promotion and support from CHDC staff, public relations activities and advertising. In addition, CHDC will utilise its database of over 1,200 contacts from corporate, private and industry bodies, and local, state and federal

Governments.

Early confirmation of partnerships is recommended to ensure maximum exposure and benefit.

The prospectus provides many different opportunities of partnership participation, however, it is by no means exhustive.

To discuss your individual objectives and budget, please contact CHDC.
