TALK OF THE TOWN

Conversations for Your Community

By Rich Maladecki

It’s time to travel to the new and upscale Central Florida Butcher Shop, entitled: Southern Steer Butcher Ocoee. Grand Opening reviews have been extremely favorable by its first wave of customers! For your information, the shop is located at the corner of Colonial Dr and Maguire Road. As our region continues to “re-open”, please view the newly announced 2022 concert schedule for Central Florida. Several entertainers have confirmed Orlando appearances for the Spring and Summer Season (Garth Brooks, Foreigner, Alicia Keys, Journey, Melissa Etheridge to name a few).

Goodbye Fuddruckers — it’s disappointing when a favorite restaurant or restaurant chain closes its doors to the public. Sadly, it was announced recently that all Central Florida Fuddruckers Restaurants are closing permanently (Thanks for those hamburger-building memories). Did you know that the Central Florida Fair is occurring at the Fairgrounds (on Colonial Drive) during the early weeks of March? For added information, please view the rolling website: centralfloridafair.com.
