Millar discovered the guitar and rock/roots music as a teen and between gigs and school, he spent hours sinking his teeth into anything from Nirvana to Wes Montgomery, from the White Stripes to Django Rheinhardt as he tried to replicate those sounds on guitar while gaining a love for improvisation and creating his own music.

Ross Ward has appeared at nine Byron Bluesfests and has enjoyed a long career in the industry with musical origins tracing back to 1969. Back in Sydney, Ward teamed up with old friends Al Britton (Bondi Cigars) on bass, keyboardist Mike Gubb and drummer Bruce Stephens. â&#x20AC;&#x2DC;Wards Xpressâ&#x20AC;&#x2122; released the â&#x20AC;&#x2DC;Five Lanesâ&#x20AC;&#x2122; CD which went to number 1 on the â&#x20AC;&#x2DC;Australian Blues & Roots Most Playedâ&#x20AC;&#x2122; charts and stayed in the â&#x20AC;&#x2DC;top 25â&#x20AC;&#x2122; for 18 months. â&#x20AC;&#x2DC;The Back Roadsâ&#x20AC;&#x2122; CD was launched this year, it too went straight to number 1, second month in!

A young singer/songwriter from the foot of the mountains â&#x20AC;&#x201C; creative and energetic, her songs are fresh, soulful and inspiring.
