CHAIRMAN’S REPORT

Mark Hotlon CCAS Chairman

CHAIRMAN’S REPORT 2015 As Founding Chairman of the Central Coast Academy of Sport, it is once again very pleasing to report on another highly successful year for the organisation both on and off the sporting field. Each year, I look forward to attending the Academy Awards Evening, where we have the unique opportunity of bringing all scholarship athletes, coaches, officials, administrators, family members, corporate partners and VIP guests together in the one room to showcase the Academy of Sport and pay tribute to the success of another year. I congratulate each of the award winners across the sport programs and again acknowledge the outstanding achievements of • Cycling athlete Tom Lynch as our 2015 Male Athlete of the Year. • Netball athlete Maddie Hilton as the 2015 Female Athlete of the Year.

7

• Basketball athlete Luke Cassidy recipient of the Chairman’s Award. • Donna Judge who received the prestigious Ray Sandell Dedication to Sporting Excellence. At the 2015 Awards Evening in November, we announced that over 2500 athletes had benefited from Central Coast Academy of Sport programs since our launch in 2004. In 2016 we will approach 3,000 athletes through the CCAS programs. This is an extremely pleasing figure and one that each and every one of our corporate partners has played an important role in. Once again I was amazed by the level of skill and professionalism of our young athletes, which was on display through their acceptance speeches and the way in which they conducted themselves as representatives of the Central Coast Academy of Sport. It is so pleasing to see that the core values and culture that has been developed at Board level is being promoted

and delivered throughout the organisation. We are very fortunate to have a committed and dynamic team of staff and volunteers, who take strategic ideas and initiatives and turn them into future success stories for our organisation. Your support and efforts is sincerely appreciated by the Board, thanks to Ian Robilliard, Emily Burgess-Moore and Jesse Dyer for your support over the past year. I personally thank Ian Robilliard, Mike Rabbitt OAM, Carolyn Kay, Steve McWhirter, Lawrie McKinna and Nikki Garrett for their wise council, good humour and genuine concern for the athletes of the Central Coast of New South Wales. To Ian your ongoing management and strategic direction of the Academy is appreciated, respected and truly valued. 2016 will see further growth for the Central Coast Academy of Sport, which is likely to feature the introduction of exciting new sport programs and the further enhancement

of existing programs to ensure they continue to offer the best possible opportunities for those involved. The focus of on-field skill development will continue, whilst we’ll also be further enhancing the already strong off-field personal development and education programs we offer to athletes, coaches, officials and administrators. We will remain true to our brand and we will continue to focus on

not only creating better athletes and sportspeople, but also overall better young people and citizens within our community. We are very well aware that our successes to date and our planned successes for the future are only possible through the highly valued support and contribution of our corporate partners. With this in mind, we will remain committed to ensuring each and every corporate partner is serviced to the highest possible

standard and we will continue to work with these like-minded organisations to deliver unique benefits and rights of association with the Central Coast Academy of Sport. To all, I extend my upmost gratitude for your support throughout 2015 and I look forward to your continued involvement with the Central Coast Academy of Sport. Mark Holton Chairman

MANAGING DIRECTOR REPORT 2015 A YEAR IN REVIEW It is my pleasure to report on the past year’s performance for the Central Coast Academy of Sport (CCAS). 2015 was another significant year for the organisation, sporting programs continue to be the core business and the primary reason for being, but some exciting new elements were introduced to the operations during the past reporting period. The focus on event management was certainly high on the radar during 2015 and while this generally proved successful the outcome from the Academies involvement in one particular event was disappointing in terms of commercial return and the cost to the organisation. The hosting of the 2015 ClubsNSW Academy Games was a real highlight for the region and for the Central Coast Academy of Sport. The CCAS won the tender to be the host organisation in 2014 and planning started almost immediately to ensure the games were delivered to a very high standard, this proved to be exactly how the event unfolded. The 2015 ClubsNSW Academy Games was an outstanding success, in excess of 750 9

athletes, coaches and support staff participated in the games and it was extremely well supported both commercially and by the Regional Academy network. The platform established in 2015 will ensure the games are delivered for mutual benefit in the years to come. Administration: 2015 was the third year of the organisations four-year strategic development plan for the period 2013-2017. Refinements were made to the staffing structures early in 2015 to cater for the support to the Central Coast Sevens event, the CCAS continued to support University Placement’s, these provided many valuable hours of University in-servicing that in turn certainly helped the organisation with regard human resource management. The CCAS maintained the position of Athlete Services and Events Manager (appointed August 2013). Mrs Jan Mayfield continued to provide significant volunteer support to the business and the important link to Ray Sandell OAM continued in a somewhat ‘restricted’ way during the past reporting period. The CCAS continued to utilise Dynamic Training & Taxation Services (DTTS) for the management of all financial

I

services. The Academies office remains at the Regional Athletics Track within the Mingara Recreation Club complex and the office continues to serve the organisation well. Finance and Assets: The 2015 Financial figures are again pleasing; in another year when finances remained tight the CCAS is able to report growth in most areas of key financial measures. The total equity of the Academy is $189,659.00. The ability to generate $ 648,542 in total income is a pleasing result. The income generation result is ‘on par’ with 2014 and is attributable to a concentrated acquisition and retention program in the commercial sector. The CCAS had received a Private Ruling from the ATO in that the CCAS would be classified as a rebateable employer when it came to FBT reporting, this meant a liability was called to account as the CCAS had been operating as FBT exempt. The CCAS is now managing this liability in terms of cash flow management. It is important to acknowledge the incredible support received from companies such as: The Greater Building Society, The University of Newcastle Ourimbah Campus (UON), Mingara Recreation Club,

CCAS Greater Bank Netball Squad

The Office of Sport (NSW Government), Gosford City Council, Wyong Shire Council, NBN Television, Central Coast Radio, Oddball Marketing, ClubsNSW, Crowne Plaza Terrigal, Under Writing Agencies Australia (UAA), these companies have all made important contributions to support the CCAS. To these organisation and the many more who have supported the programs and events over a busy 2015 I offer a very important vote of thanks. IT and Systems: In 2015 the CCAS IT system was further consolidated due to the organisation now having a dedicated ‘in office’ cloud server which makes the migration of electronic files much more effective. The CCAS also made ‘headway’ with the rewriting and redevelopment of the Thinksport website. A new website with new functionality will be introduced to the market early in Q1 2016. It remains a key element of the business to stay ‘in tune’ with the changes in the IT field as this has a direct bearing on the functional efficiency of the organisation. It is pleasing to report that the CCAS has continued to maintain a state of the art IT platform.

Commercial Operations: The CCAS is pleased to report the following partnerships remained in place during 2015; NSW Government, The University of Newcastle (UON), Mingara Recreation Club, NBN TV, Southern Cross Austereo, Gosford City Council, Wyong Shire Council, Underwriting Agencies Australia (UAA), SRIXON Sports Australasia, The Greater Building Society, ClubsNSW, Central Coast Grammar School, Crowne Plaza Terrigal, Club Terrigal, Viatek, Mingara One, BOOST juice, Water to Go, Scribal, Hills Street Sports Medicine, Shelly Beach Golf Club, Magenta Shores Golf Club, Kooindah Waters Golf Club, Central Coast Adventist School, Gordon Rugby Union, Hudson Global Logistics, in addition to these partnership agreements numerous supply arrangements that build the athletes ‘privilege of association’ remained current during 2015. Supply arrangements have continued during the past period and again companies such as 2XU, Water to Go, Gatorade, Victor Sports, Insurance AdvisorNet, Mingara One, are but some of the supply agreements maintained in 2015 that build further value to the organisation. I encourage any stakeholder to support the group of companies and organisations who support the CCAS, by doing this the

I

value of community support is leveraged and it makes sound commercial sense to be working with like-minded companies for the betterment of sport. Conclusion: After another difficult and busy year the CCAS Board of Directors remain very committed to the organisation, the stability at a Directorship level is important to the strength of the business, each Director freely gives their time to provide opportunities for this regions up and coming athletes and I take this opportunity to thank them for this ongoing essential support. The staff at the Academy have a genuine empathy for the service nature of the business and the athletes we represent, again my sincere thanks to Emily Burgess-Moore, Jan Mayfield, Ray Sandell OAM, Linda Holton and Christine Robilliard for their support to the organisation. FUTURE DEVELOPMENTS In the 2015 February Board meeting, the Board of Directors have agreed on a number of ambitious plans for the year ahead, some of these are detailed in the organisations future plans. 1. Administration It is planned that 2016 will be a year of consolidation with regard staff. I wrote in the annual report in 2015 that one of the great challenges within the NFP sector is the ability to retain good staff and to reward them accordingly, the CCAS is very mindful of building alternative revenue streams to help with the retention of staff. 2. Finance and Assets The CCAS enjoys a very sound platform in terms of revenue generation and it is again planned that additional sponsors and business partners will be attracted to the business in 2016. The organisation is currently seeking a name partner to the business, the ability to find a company that could align their brand DNA to that of the CCAS would have significant benefits for all involved. The RAS; business case will be developed and submitted to treasury in Q3 2016, within the business case will be request for additonal funding to support Regional Academies.

11

3. Sport Management The CCAS has been steadily working with State Sporting Organisation (SSO) and in some cases National Sporting Organisations (NSO) in a further attempt to align the athlete benefits to the FTEM Model of athlete development. The FTEM Model is now taking traction and the RAS Network are very well placed to be working seamlessly with SSO’s for the development of a true and sustainable athlete pathway. The CCAS enjoys the delivery of a core group of sport, these include: AFL, Athletics, Basketball, Future Stars, Golf, Netball, Netball Umpiring, Surfing, and Swimming, it is expected these sports will be complemented by sports such as: Cycling, Rugby Seven’s, and Triathlon. The ability to operate these sports remains the core business of the Academy and every attempt will be made to ensure a minimum of twelve high performance sports programs will be offered in 2016. The ClubsNSW Academy Games will again be hosted by the CCAS between April 8 – 10, this is a major undertaking for a small organisation and while the challenges are evident wit is anticipate the Games will be a huge success for the region. The economic benefits that flow into the Central Coast are important,

FUTURE DEVELOPMENTS

I

but more so it is important that the Central Coast athlete get to test their skills and abilities against similar aged athletes from the RAS network, that truly is the real benefit of the games and we again look forward in anticipation of Central Coast athletes doing well at the games. At the time of writing six sports will be offered as part of the games make-up; Basketball, Golf, Netball, Hockey and Triathlon with Surfing as an Exhibition Sport in 2016. 4. Marketing and Promotion. The Marketing and Promotion that will be seen and heard in 2016 will again be very sport focused, it is planned that Southern Cross Austereo (101.3 SEA FM and 107.7 2GO) will re-make all CCAS radio commercials for scheduling in July 2016. To support the radio campaign NBN TV will be staging a run of station campaign in March, promoting the work of the Academy and acknowledging the support from our key industry partners, the TVC’s will also be scheduled on GO and GEM as part of the revised marketing and promotion of the CCAS. The CCAS continues to build the digital footprint via Facebook, Twitter and You Tube, this will be maintained in 2016 and where possible enhanced through a dedicated ad placement campaign to build the

‘likes’ specific to Facebook. The new CCAS website will be an important addition to the digital marketing efforts and the new word press editing suite at the ‘back end’ of the website will be well utilised when the site goes live early in Q1 2016. 5. Commercial Operations. The year on year challenge in the NFP sector sits within the need to be working extensively in the commercial space of the region. The need to be vigilant in the commercial sector never ends, the RASi network is

currently working diligently with the preparation of a new RASi Business Case to be presented to Treasury for the next four year funding cycle by the NSW Government. The development of the Business Case is being led by a small sub committee from RASi including: Martin Bullock (WSAS), Gerry Knights (SWSAS), Brett O’Farrell (HAS) and Ian Robilliard (CCCS) are working diligently behind the scenes to ensure a compelling case is presented to Treasury Q3 2016 for an increase in grant funding to support the important work done in the regions by

the RASi collective. In a first for RASi the sub committee is being supported by Price Waterhouse Coopers (PwC) who are providing expertise and advice to assist in the Business case development. PwC are also doing the work around financial modeling of RASi to again demonstrate the significant value the RASi network provides throughout NSW and the essential role we each play.

AFL CENTRAL COAST ACADEMY OF SPORT AFL PROGRAM 2014/15 The Central Coast Academy of Sport AFL Program enjoyed another successful season in 2015/16. This year there was an exceptionally strong contingent of members from across the Central Coast stretching from as far north as Northlakes and far south as Woy Woy, including a number of players returning from the previous years’ program. The coaching panel possessed a great deal of AFL experience across a variety of levels. They were led by Simon Smyth, Peter Van Dam and Chris Forster and were well supported by team manager Sam Shergold. The program was run two nights a week between October 2015 to March 2016 at Passage Road oval Bateau Bay. The

participants showed great dedication in the program, some of whom committed to an hours travel in order to attend the training sessions. Throughout the duration of the program participants conducted training sessions that introduced them to new drills designed for representative and senior sides, an insight into the tactical side of coaching - the benefits of different training drills - and were exposed to a variety of different coaching philosophies. The academy members also undertook educational seminars covering a range of topics; including learning of the benefits of healthy eating, gaining a strong education and drug and alcohol information sessions. It was not only the academy players and coaches who were the beneficiaries of these seminars, as players’ parents were also invited along to attend.

Thanks to the contribution of the University of Newcastle and several students conducting a Sports Science degree, the Central Coast Academy AFL participants were able to undertake a testing program designed to closely emulate that of the AFL’s aspiring draftees. The testing consisted of various sprint and agility tasks where participants had their results recorded and were presented with a report at a later date detailing areas of strength and areas that they could improve on. The AFL coaching staff and players would like to thank the Central Coast Academy of Sport for all their ongoing support and assistance throughout the season, as well as The Glen Centre, Newcastle University and Central Coast Adventist School.

The Central Coast Academy of Sport Mingara One Athletics program provides skill development for young Central Coast Athletes. The program consisted of male and female athletes 12-17yrs of age. The athletes trained at the Central Coast Regional Athletics Centre, Mingara One Gymnasium and Shelly Beach.

The skill development of the program is aimed at building on and helping the athletes achieve their best results by receiving coaching from some of the best athletics coaches on the Central Coast. The CCAS coaching staff consisted of Neil Hinton (Sprints Coach), Kerry Smith (Throws coach), Matt Horsnell (Jumps Coach) and Larry Spencer (Mentor).

The program was able to achieve this running sessions at the athletics centre but also training sessions at the beach and gymnasium (Mingara One). The sessions at different locations allow the athletes to learn new training methods and to assist them by training outside of their comfort zones. The sports psychology session allowed athletes to re-assess their individual performance goals and to learn precompetition and competition strategies in an effort to improve performance.

BASKETBALL CENTRAL COAST ACADEMY OF SPORT BASKETBALL PROGRAM 2014/15 The ClubsNSW Basketball Program has been a shining light in the development of basketballers across the Central Coast for a decade now and this year’s group was no exception. The Program is a 6 month commitment from athletes and coaches with the aim of becoming a better person and basketballer. While basketball is obviously the focus of the program, positives initiatives introduced to athletes are as follows : • Physical Testing from Newcastle University • Education Sessions • Squad Tour – Port Macquarie • Guest Coaches – Tim Hudson & Joe Connelly • Video Analysis The squad was lucky to have an elite coaching staff assembled for 2015-16. All coaches volunteer their time and put in a lot of effort organizing and running the Programs. The coaches got together in early

October to ‘map out’ the plan for the 2015-16. It was decided that the academy would run both skill development and team sessions this year. This was identified as the best avenue for rapid progress. Individual skill sessions were run with the aim improving athletes shooting technique, ball handling, defensive footwork and one on one moves. The team sessions were based around constant movement, spacing, cutting, offensive & defensive transitions and a basic 5 OUT offence. The 5 OUT concept was put in place due to its diversity. Every athlete got a chance to play every position on the floor, which was found to be very beneficial. In the middle of December we headed to Port Macquarie for our annual Squad Trip. This consists of high intensity training sessions and games against and with the Hunter Academy Program. The games and trainings are great but the most important part of the trip is the interaction of athletes with each other. Personal development is something the academy takes very seriously and this is where

we see athletes becoming more confident and growing up before our eyes. The trip is the highlight of the year to most athletes as it is a chance to reflect on the year that was and reassess and set new goals for 2016. The Program reaches a climax with the Clubs NSW Academy Games held on our home turf here at Terrigal. All athletes were given the opportunity the showcase their development against all the best Academies from around the State. Both boys and girls played at a high level. Both teams gave their all and came away Bronze medallists, great reward for six months of hard work. The Academy of Sport is a great initiative that both coaches and athletes look forward to each year. Thank you to Moose and Emily for extending the opportunity to be a part of the Program in 2015-16. CENTRAL COAST ACADEMY OF SPORT GOLF PROGRAM 2014/15 This years 2015-2016 Golf program continues to evolve in an effective and positive direction. The squad this year consisted of 10 athletes The program is strongly supported by Srixon and three local golf clubs those being Kooindah Waters, Magenta Shores and Shelly Beach Golf Club. The squad was coached again by Peter Cliff with support from the team manager Marg Swanson and Emily BurgessMoore. Due to the problems of club commitments for representative pennants during the first 3 months of the year a transition to Tuesday afternoon sessions instead of weekend camps was very successful with much better attendance. By spreading these sessions between the sponsor clubs we were able to cover many different skills utilising their varied facilities. We trained for 2 weekend camps and 4 mid-week sessions in October and November. The

23

GOLF

training sessions then changed to Tuesdays for 6 more sessions from December to March. We had Dr Robert Neale complete a 3D biomechanics evaluation on 6 of our athletes. John Crampton gave a session on preparation and dealing with pressure during competitive rounds. There were two gym sessions and a session at Ourimbah campus of Newcastle University for physical testing. We had education sessions for Drug and Alcohol, Skin care and Skin cancer awareness. The athletes were tested using JNJG and NSWIS skills tests. This was also to show the deficiencies in the skills levels. Training was structured to augment their current skill level with correction, added variety and game strategies to make better shot selections during play. They also attended sessions in course management strategies, tournament preparation and more effective practice regiments. The majority of athletes attended a bus trip to The Australian open. This trip was organised by JNJG and was a

CCAS ANNUAL REPORT 2015

successful day. They not only got to watch Australia’s best golfers but also attend a clinic hosted by some of the players. The squad completed strongly in the Academy Games in April. Keegan Phillips was part of the winning team for Fridays ambrose event at Shelly Beach. In the two day individual contest Curtis Lanarch was the highest finisher in the scratch finishing fifth and Jye Crowe finishing first in the Net. The inclusion of The Springs as a venue for the first round was well received and an excellent test for the golfers. Magenta was a stern test for the second round and in excellent condition. Thanks again to Mark Ingrey for his help overseeing the tournament. CCAS Netball Squad - Central Coast Grammar School

CENTRAL COAST ACADEMY OF SPORT NETBALL PROGRAM 2015 The 2015 Netball program provides a training environment for eligible young netballers throughout the Central Coast region to access quality development opportunities and support as they progress through the Netball NSW pathway. The Central Coast Academy of Sport follow the ‘Develop a Diamond’ Academy syllabus, as set out by Netball Australia in conjunction with Netball NSW. The program is aimed at individual skill development and further representative opportunities for athletes. The academy program also focuses on further development of local coaches and umpires. The target age group for full scholarship positions within the Academy netball program is for athletes turning 14 to 16 years of age and residing on the Central Coast and playing with one of the three local Central Coast Netball Associations - Gosford, Woy Woy or Wyong. Selections took place at the end of 2014 with a squad of 22 athletes selected and announced in December. The program is split into two blocks February to April and July to September, as during the months the squad does not 25

meet the athletes are playing and training for their respective associations working towards the Netball NSW State Age Championships. This years coaching staff consisted of Head Coach Gima Crowdy, Assistant Coaches Jess Morgan and Casey Judge, Mentor Coach Marion Van Munster and Squad Manager Donna Judge. The squad meet and train each fortnight on a Wednesday night at the Central Coast Grammar School. The squad also received specialised Educational sessions during the academy season. The netball program also included two fitness testing sessions one at the beginning of the program and one towards the end of the program with noticeable better results at the second testing. This testing and data collection is run by the Sports Science Department from the Newcastle University Ourimbah Campus. The athletes are tested on netball specific exercises such as Sit & Reach, Vertical Jump, 10m Lunge Walk, Side Bridge, Push Up, Hops, Side squats, short sprints and the Yo Yo testing. Newcastle University provide the test results to the individual athletes so they understand which areas of their fitness need improving. A program is provided to the athletes to improve their fitness on the

CCAS ANNUAL REPORT 2015

areas in concern. The highlight of the program is both the ClubsNSW Academy Games and the NIB Hunter Festival Games. The Academy Games were held in April on the Central Coast so we were able to field two teams where by the girls all performed to expectation. All coaches were available and were extremely pleased to see the skills they all worked on transferred to the court. The NIB Hunter Festival of Games was held in July. Both Gima Crowdy and Jess Morgan were out of the Country so Casey Judge coached the division one team and Nerida Stewart and Delaney Faye kindly stepped in to coach the division two team. Both teams this time performed above expectation with the division one team placing second and the division two team placing first. This was a huge effort by the athletes and coaches showing that their skill level, intensity & determination is up there with the best netballers in NSW. Without the continued support from Club Terrigal, Netball NSW, Central Coast Grammar School, Hills Street Sports Medicine Centre and 2XU the Central Coast Academy Netball program would not be as successful as it is.

SURFING CENTRAL COAST ACADEMY OF SPORT SURFING PROGRAM 2014/15 The 2014/15 surfing program was another success with 14 athletes taking part over the summer months. The program ran from October to March with the program concluding with a tag team event against the Hunter Academy at Soldiers Beach on the NSW Central Coast as an exhibition sports included in the ClubsNSW Academy Games. The content of the program consisted of maneuver and contest drills, fitness, video reviews and psychological tests. One of the highlights of the program was the introduction to breath holding run by highly qualified free diver Daron Alderman. This really helped the athletes with their mental approach to riding big waves, how to handle long hold downs

and to calm the nerves before competition.

Terry Webster and his team in providing video footage.

Another important initiative from the Academy was a visit to “The Glen” rehabilitation center. Here the athletes listened to 3 speakers who had alcohol and drug issues and who were trying hard every day to heal themselves. It was a great eye opener for the athletes not to take life for granted and also the dangers of drug and alcohol abuse.

As before mentioned the program concluded with a tag team event against the Hunter Academy, unfortunately the Central Coast was just beaten in a closely contested event and we were all happy surfing was added to the Academy games and we will be better and stronger next year.

The video review was also a great tool to use throughout the program, the following week after a surf session the athletes would meet at Shelly Beach Golf Club and use their conference room to review the previous week’s session. It was great to see the athletes reaction to HOW they thought they surfed and how they ACTUALLY did surf and a great way to demonstrate correct techniques. Thanks go to

A big thankyou to the 2 coaches – Sandra English and Marcus Davidson who enjoyed a great 2015/2016 program and who are both looking forward to the next program. Also thanks goes to Terry Webster and his team, Shelly Beach Golf Club, Mingara One (who tired us out with a VERY hard circuit and yoga session), all the parents for their commitment to get the athletes to and from the beach and all the athletes who participated and gave us nothing but their best.

SWIMMING CENTRAL COAST ACADEMY OF SPORT SWIMMING PROGRAM 2015 The 2015 Academy Swimming program was selected from athletes with representation from the swimming clubs of the area. The swimmers ages ranged from 11 up to 21 male and female’s athlete trained together at each session. The swimming team trained together throughout the winter season and finished the season with a team tour to Noosa to compete in the Noosa open swim meet. The program consisted of a two hour training session each month, within the session we covered all strokes and skills required to maximize the skills of distances the athletes would compete. At each session we had a guest coach who passed on information for the progression in the sport. Angelo Basalo was a coach at the London Paralympic Games who spoke about team commitments, and hardships

encountered by athletes with a disability. He also showed the team a gold medal won Mathew Levy in the 4 x 100 IM relay. Philip MacWaith coaches at Dapto and a coach on the NSW development swim program spoke about the difficulties of training in the country regions of NSW yet overcoming these obstacles to gain National team standards. The program has the two top swimming venues on the coast to conduct training sessions, Mingara One recreation centre and the Peninsula Leisure Centre Woy Woy. Both centres are world class facilities and sponsor the program with access for the athletes. Our Major tour for the year was to Noosa with a pre-competition camp at Runaway Bay, Gold Coast, QLD. Our camp was designed to challenge the athlete over the 4 days with tough sessions and a challenging drive of 200 kilometres to compete with the athlete leaving the Gold coast at 5 am for a 7.30 warm up and meet start at 8.00am, the athletes competed well with many PBs and medals won.

A few highlights were meeting Moscow Olympian Bronze medallist, Graeme Brewer who thanked our team for attending and watching a recently selected Rio Olympic games breaststroker, Jake Packard swim his races where we had a few of our swimmer competing in the lanes next to him. We finished off the day with a swim at sunshine beach before the long drive back to the gold coast. The program would not be possible without the generous support of Gosford Council, Mingara One, and Water To Go also a special mention to Melissa Shields who was the team manager for the tour. The programv could not run smoothly without the coaches in attendance, so special appreciation goes to Shane Shepard and Angus Mckay with Mitchel Patterson attending as assistant manager and coach on the tour. Regards Graeme Carroll Head coach CCAS swimming Program.
