CBC HOMECOMING ACTIVITIES SET FOR FEB. 20-21

Central Baptist College will host its annual Homecoming activities on Friday, Feb. 20 and Saturday, Feb. 21. Events will begin on Friday evening with a Chili Cook-off to be held outside the A.R. Reddin Fieldhouse. Student groups, alumni and local businesses are encouraged to participate in this tailgate style event. The event will be free with chili and hot dogs available, plus games on the lawn for all ages. The fun continues as both the Lady Mustangs and Mustangs take on Oklahoma Wesleyan. The women’s game begins at 5:30 p.m. and the men’s game at 7:30 p.m. On Saturday, activities begin at 10 a.m. with the Half Century Club Inductions in the Mitchell Lecture Hall of the Watkins Academic Building. Graduates from 1963 to 1965 will be inducted into the Half Century Club. The CBC Alumni Luncheon will be held at noon in the Dining Hall of the Mabee Student Service Building. Awards will be given to two

alumni who have demonstrated incredible service to their community, their careers and to the Lord. The Distinguished Alumnus of the Year will be presented to Phylis Hoffmann, and the Outstanding Young Alumnus of the Year will be presented to Luis Ortega. Following the luncheon, there will be a Homecoming Queens’ Tea to be held in the CBC Community Room at 1:30 p.m. All former Homecoming Queens are invited to attend this event. An Impact Team reunion will be held at 1:30 p.m. in the Story Library Café 52. Bro. Jeff Riddle is excited to welcome back all Impact Team members for a time of food, fellowship and fun. The highlight of the day begins in the A.R. Reddin Fieldhouse at 3 p.m. with the Lady Mustangs taking on Haskell. The 2015 Homecoming Court will be announced after the women’s game and will be followed by the Mustangs going head to head with Haskell. ✝
