Dear Centner Academy Community, My name is Daniela Lawler, and I am excited and honored to be chairing the 2nd Annual Centner Academy Gala in March 2024, along with Avisha Kassir. You may have heard about how spectacular our 1st Annual Gala was – in fact, the post-Gala buzz even reached parents from other schools who are still talking about how special, unique and super fun our Gala was!

In addition to being an amazing party, it was also very successful! We raised $380,000 for our Scholarship Program, which provided $1,276,906 in scholarships to 112 students from 79 families for the 2023-2024 school year! Out of the total financial aid and scholarship funds provided, Leila & David Centner personally funded $1,056,906. These much needed Scholarship funds are the bridge for many families between what they can afford and the annual tuition, closing the gap and giving many students the opportunity to learn and grow at our very special school who otherwise would not have had that possibility! Centner Academy was established in 2019 and has quickly become a very important part of our lives. Families have moved across states, countries and continents to be here. Why? Because this one school embodies everything that is important to every single one of us: love, community and connection. Our goal for the 2nd Annual Gala is to raise $500,000 for these much needed scholarships! Avisha and I invite you to consider becoming a Sponsor or Auction Item Donor. Your contribution will directly impact children and families who would like to be part of this special school community but would not be able to join without help. What a truly wonderful gift! WHO WE ARE The Centner Academy Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is a nonprofit organization of parents dedicated to supporting our amazing and unique school in its mission to provide the highest quality education to our children.
MISSION Centner Academy is so special because we are a community committed to the health, well-being and learning of the whole child. We are providing our students with the experiences, opportunities and skills to become lifelong learners, critical thinkers and emotional ninjas, all while keeping their minds and bodies super healthy!
VISION While the PTO supports many events and initiatives throughout the year to enhance the experiences of our children, this Gala is focused on raising funds to support scholarships, providing the opportunity for more children and families to join our school community.

Centner Academy Financial Aid award decisions are based on: • Documented financial need • Positive participation of the student in the Centner Academy community, student embodiment of Centner Academy’s values and behavior inside and outside the school setting • Positive involvement of the student’s parents in the Centner Academy community • As a recipient of a Scholarship or Financial Aid, you are an Ambassador of Centner Academy, positively representing the school within and outside of the school setting. Scholarship and Financial Aid Recipients: • Commit to volunteer hours • Act as a School Ambassador by promoting the school in the community • Promote a positive, constructive, collaborative School culture • Student shall maintain a 3.0 or greater GPA
