RESIDENT ORGANIZATIONS

The Center is the proud home to 20 Resident Partners – independent arts and education organizations that represent a significant portion of the cultural nonprofits in Jackson Hole. The Center’s Resident Partners are the heart and soul of the community, activating our campus and bringing vibrancy to our valley. Thanks to these organizations, there is something for everyone at Center for the Arts.

WELCOME.

We are thrilled to welcome you to The Center’s Annual Benefit Concert, held outside in The Center Park for the third year in a row.

This evening is a celebration of The Center and its role in the Jackson arts and cultural community. True to our original mission nearly 20 years ago, The Center offers a dedicated campus at affordable rental and lease rates, a full-service performing arts facility supporting diverse and accessible programming, and a collaborative gathering space for our entire community.

Our work is made possible by the incredible generosity of donors, supporters, foundations, and businesses. Thank you.

We hope that you enjoy a wonderful evening celebrating all that Center for the Arts represents - the arts in its many forms, the unique community that is Jackson Hole, and our campus as the pivotal place where it all comes together. Dance, sing along, enjoy a meal, and visit with friends and neighbors.

Thank you for joining us!

We acknowledge the Cheyenne, Eastern Shoshone, and Shoshone-Bannock peoples, their elders past and present, their future generations, and all Indigenous peoples that call this place home, since time immemorial. We offer gratitude for the land itself and the original caretakers of it who were forcibly removed.

TETON MUSIC SCHOOL

Tonight, we are proud to partner with and highlight Center Resident Organization, Teton Music School (TMS). TMS will kick off this special evening at 5:30 PM with high school rock band Shh My Mom’s Home.

The Center’s partnership with TMS at this event is just one example of the transformative power of collaboration among the 20 Resident Organizations on our campus, and represents a core aspect of The Center’s mission and purpose in the community: to provide a dedicated campus for collaboration and excellent arts and cultural programming.

CORY WONG

Cory Wong has perfected the art of rhythm guitar. As a Grammynominated guitarist, producer, and composer he tours worldwide to sold-out shows. Cory plays with members of the band of the late great Prince and as a member of Vulfpeck. In addition, he hosts the hilarious variety show “Cory and the Wongnotes” and has performed as a special guest on ”The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” and as a guest member of the show’s house band Stay Human.

It’s our pleasure to bring one of the nation’s leaders of funk, rhythm, and good times to Jackson Hole for our community to enjoy. Sometimes dorky, always funny, and a member of popular music’s bleeding edge, tonight is your chance to see Cory bring something entirely new to the Tetons.
