The International Coaching Federation defines coaching as a “[partnership] with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential”1. An executive coach, like an athletic coach, helps to get coaches to the next level – but the coaches must be interested, motivated, and dedicated for lasting results. A coach is not a therapist, coworker, or friend, but a coach is a person that coaches can trust to tell them what they need to hear to achieve their career goals.
