Contact: Gina Paradiso Phone: 719-543-9502 Email: gina@americanvaluescenter.org PUEBLO MEDAL OF HONOR FOUNDATION, CENTER FOR AMERICAN VALUES TO HONOR OUR HEROES The Pueblo Medal of Honor Foundation will begin two days of events, honoring our heroes, beginning with a golf tournament fund-raiser on Friday, May 13, 2011 at the Pueblo Country Club. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m., with an 8:45 a.m. tee time. The $175 entry fee includes a 6:00 p.m. dinner at the Pueblo Convention Center for the player and a guest. Medal of Honor Recipient Drew Dix and Col. James Moschgat, ASAF (Ret.) will be amongst the special presenters at the dinner. On Saturday, May 14th at 10:00 a.m. a rededication of the Home of Heroes Memorial sculptures will take place at the Pueblo Convention Center. A new plaque will be unveiled, which will include the names of additional Medal of Honor Recipients.

The Walk of Valor tour will immediately follow, led by Medal of Honor Recipients Drew Dix, Pete Lemon and America’s newest Medal of Honor Recipient Salvatore Giunta. The Center for American Values completes the walk with a grand finale, unveiling Salvatore Giunta’s Portrait of Valor to their Medal of Honor gallery. The Center will host a reception in Giunta’s honor and is open to the public.
