The activities will be held in the AT&T parking lot adjacent to the Riverwalk on South Main Street. “This is a great opportunity for the media and community to come out to see our programs in action” said Center CEO, MajGen. (Ret) Tod Bunting. “We are so excited to now have the ability to reach students and people throughout our country. The press conference will include remarks from Bunting and Center co-founder and Medal of Honor recipient, Drew Dix. Following, the Center will host the first mobile classroom program for students from the Youth and Family Academy (YAFA). The program, taught by the Center’s Educational Coordinator Jodene Muniz, will explore becoming an everyday hero by focusing on the Center’s core values of Honor, Integrity, and Patriotism. All attendees are strongly encouraged to park in the vertical parking garage to allow AT&T call center employees access to their primary parking spaces. On July 4th, the Mobile CAV will also be on display at the Pueblo West Vendor Fair following their annual Independence Day Parade.
