A HISTORIC MILESTONE

The Center Club Achieves Its Highest National Ranking Ever We are thrilled to announce a historic milestone for our community. In the newly released 2027–2028 Platinum Clubs of America awards, The Center Club has achieved its highest ranking in Club history, securing the #19 spot nationwide in the City Club category. This incredible achievement caps off years of steady dedication to excellence and honors the rich legacy of our institution. Since our founding, The Center Club has been defined by its commitment to providing an exceptional environment and

being a welcoming, inclusive haven for Baltimore’s civic, professional and social leaders. To see our enduring mission recognized on a national scale is a profoundly proud moment for us all.

VIEW THE 2027/2028 RANKINGS Our steady climb from #29 to #26, and now a leap into the national Top 20 at #19, firmly establishes The Center Club among the most respected private city clubs in the country. Most remarkably, this honor officially distinguishes

us as the only private City Club in the entire state of Maryland to hold a Platinum City Club designation for the upcoming cycle. This historic ranking is a direct reflection of our incredible members, our mission-driven governance, and a staff dedicated to world-class hospitality. Thank you to everyone who makes our Club a premier hub for connection and excellence in Baltimore! An institution is defined by its trajectory—and throughout our long history, our momentum has never been stronger. As we look ahead to 2027, the value, connection, and pride of being a part of this community continue to reach new heights. November // December 2026 | 3

Pecan Rolls A Little Morning Magic: Chef Bannan’s Quick-Prep Pecan Rolls. The holidays are for lingering over coffee and enjoying time with family and friends—not spending all morning in the kitchen! Chef Bannan shares his clever shortcut for a delicious holiday breakfast: ready-made cinnamon roll dough paired with his decadent pecan topping. Follow the recipe below for a warm, irresistible treat, with more time to savor the season with those gathered around your table.

6 | The Center Club Uncorked

Chef Bannan’s Quick Prep Pecan Roll Recipe (for 12 rolls)

Chef Bannan recommends using pre-made cinnamon roll dough to expedite the process. It’s okay to cheat once in a while!*

GREASE a 9x13 baking dish MAKE the topping TOPPING INGREDIENTS

1 1/2 Cup Chopped Pecans 3/4 Cup Brown Sugar 1/2 Cup Butter 1/4 Cup Honey 1/2 Teaspoon Salt Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt the butter, brown sugar, pecans, honey and salt Mix gently while warm Pour into greased baking dish Spread evenly over the bottom Place cinnamon rolls on top of the caramel mixture Cover with plastic wrap and let rise for 30-45 minutes until puffy

BAKE for 30-35 minutes until golden brown (to prevent rolls from getting too brown, you can add an aluminum foil tent partway through). COOL for 15 Minutes FLIP (carefully) onto a serving platter MAKE and drizzle icing on top (Optional) (Mix together 1 cup confectioners sugar, 1-2 Tablespoons each of lemon juice and milk–add more liquid as needed) SERVE immediately *If you prefer to make your own danish dough, after you’ve rolled it out onto a board you can sprinkle with 1/2 cup light brown sugar, 1 Tablespoon ground cinnamon and 4 Tablespoons soft butter. Roll up your dough, cut into buns and follow the recipe above for the topping, baking and icing steps.
