2 | Introduction
I ntro d uction
The Center Club was established in 1962 at a time when prominent Baltimore business and social leaders were seeking an environment that would offer fine cuisine and attentive service in a setting of privacy and tradition. Unlike other clubs at this time, The Center Club was founded on a charter of inclusiveness.
Since the beginning, The Center Club has been one of the most prestigious locations in Baltimore to meet colleagues and friends, dine in comfortable and subtle elegance and enjoy entertaining with others of like mind. Emphasis is placed upon those elements that constitute the essence of a fine private club. In 2009, The Center Club underwent a renovation of the main floor, the first significant upgrade to the Club in more than 20 years. In 2015, The Orioles Pub, a casual dining venue, was added to the 16th Floor. In 2018, the 16th Floor was totally renovated to enhance our private event space. In 2024, The Center Club’s main floor kitchen was renovated into the Culinary Gallery, offering enhanced dining experiences, an interactive Chef’s Table, a Members’ bakery and barista station, curated foods, personalized wine selections and lockers, reinforcing the Club’s prestige nationally and globally. Perched on the 15th and 16th floors of 100 Light Street, The Center Club offers stunning views of Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, Federal Hill, and sports stadiums. Recognized as a Top 100 City Club worldwide since 2018 and a Top 50 in the U.S. since 2014, it holds the distinction of being Baltimore’s only 5-star Platinum City Club.

EVENT RESERVATION & CANCELLATION POLICY The Center Club’s Event Reservation and Cancellation Policy applies to all Club-sponsored events, including signature events (such as Mother’s Day, Easter, Independence Day celebrations, Holiday Brunches, New Year’s Eve, and similar events), as well as Club social events, IntraClub activities, Interest Group events, and any other event requiring advance registration or reservations. To ensure proper planning, staffing, purchasing, and event execution, reservations must be cancelled no later than 48 hours prior to the start of the event. Members who cancel less than 48 hours before an event, reduce the number of attendees included in their reservation within 48 hours of an event, or do not attend an event for which they have registered will be charged 100% of the applicable event fee. Reductions in the number of guests are considered partial cancellations and are subject to the same 48hour cancellation deadline. For example, if a member reserves four seats and only two guests attend, the member will be charged for all four reservations unless the reduction was communicated to the Club

at least 48 hours prior to the event. The Club incurs costs and makes commitments based on reservation counts. Late cancellations, reductions in attendance, and no-shows prevent the Club from accurately managing event expenses and may limit opportunities for other members to participate. Exceptions to this policy will be granted only in cases of illness or circumstances beyond a member’s control, such as severe weather or other acts of God, as determined by Club management. Cancellation deadlines and any event-specific requirements will be communicated in event promotions and registration materials. A summary of this policy will be included in all event announcements and registration materials to ensure members are aware of the cancellation requirements prior to registering. By registering for an event, members acknowledge and agree to abide by this Event Reservation and Cancellation Policy.
