Chief’s Message Chief James Mork

female officer in the history of the department to be promoted in rank. In July we celebrated the annual Fete des Lacs (Festival of Lakes) in Centerville, and Officers Schroeder and Johnson received Life Saving Awards. Officer Goetzke was promoted in July to the rank of Sergeant. In August we had a great time visiting parties at Night to Unite in Centerville, Circle Pines, and Lexington, and Anthony Tonda was sworn in as our newest officer. In October Officer John Krueger was promoted to Corporal, the same rank he held previously as a US Marine. Many of our staff assisted with making the holidays a little brighter in December by delivering food, gifts, and holiday cheer to families in our communities. I’m very honored to be a member of a police department that does so much good work in the community, that I don’t have the time or space to mention all of it. Just know this, CLPD is working hard every day to ensure we provide the highest level of service possible to our constituents. As you look through our annual report, I hope you are pleased with all the good work our staff is doing. Feel free to contact me with any questions. Lastly, I’d like to thank all the women and men of the Centennial Lakes Police Department, the Police Governing Board, City Administrators, Citizens, and Business Community for their continued support and cooperation.
