TRAILS & RECREATION PLAN The City of Centennial is updating its Trails and Recreation Master Plan. City staff and the consultant, Design Workshop, are working with an appointed Advisory Committee representing local and regional partners in recreation for the area. The goal is to jointly identify opportunities and strategies to implement within our network of parks, open space, trails and recreation. Community input will be needed as we move into our public outreach phase this spring. A variety of workshops will take place throughout the City and there will be opportunities to provide feedback through online surveys. These comments will help us better understand your needs and desires for new, improved and expanded parks, open space, recreation and trails in the City. NEXT
Thank you to those that have provided feedback about the City’s Comprehensive Plan, Centennial NEXT. These comments were helpful in developing vision statements illustrating your desires for the future of Centennial. Currently, the City is documenting the existing layout, land uses and trends that may affect Centennial throughout the next 10 - 20 years. Specifically, the Centennial NEXT team is looking at areas of the City that have yet to be developed, or may warrant redevelopment in the upcoming decades. This information will help the City plan for future opportunities and meet the community’s vision. Join the conversation and help us establish the “next” chapter for Centennial! Visit centennialco.gov/centennialnext for more information and to participate in online surveys and public events.
