WHAT IS FIXED PRICE DENTAL? The core purpose of Fixed Price Dental is to provide you with a fresh avenue for New Patients. A Fixed Price Patient is booked and confirmed through our website and then presents to your clinic, once the initial appointment has been booked and confirmed, the patient is all yours.

FAQ How is Fixed Priced Dental Different From Other Online Booking Sites, Such as Health Engine? Our aim is to supply your clinic with a flow of new patients. We supply you with a fee schedule for Fixed Price Dental referred patients . After the initial appointment that is booked through Fixed Price Dental's website the patient is registered by you as a Fixed Price Dental referred patient in their notes and any future treatment that is planned or performed will be charged using the fee schedule we provide you. All future appointments and correspondence is with your dental clinic. What makes Fixed Price Dental different to 99dental or other discount dental practices? We do not brand or start up clinics to provide our services, we work with already well established and reputable dental clinics to help provide them with a flow of new patients and get ahead of their competitors.
FAQ Is Fixed Price Dental similar to smile.com.au or a health fund? Fixed Price Dental does not charge the patient an annual fee or membership. Our patients know exactly what our fees are and this does not change from clinic to clinic or area. All Fixed Price Dental partnering clinics charge our referred patients the advertised fee schedule on our website for all future dental treatments. After the initial appointment is booked through our Fixed Price Dental website all future appointments and correspondence will be directly with your dental clinic. We do not re-market or re-target to any patients once they have attended the initial appointment. We do not keep any patient notes, personal information or records. Once the initial treatment is booked through our website this patient will then hopefully become part of your loyal patient base.
FAQ Why would I want to register my dental clinic with Fixed Price Dental? The Australian dental industry is extremely competitive, there are dental clinics on every street corner in the suburbs and CBD areas, large corporations and Health Funds are opening clinics throughout these areas, they have the advantage of being preferred providers for many if not all of the major health insurance companies. If your clinic is in one of these heavily competitive areas Fixed Price Dental is here to help you get the edge over your competition. We only approve a selected number of Dentists/Clinics per area hence we keep Fixed Price Dental more exclusive. We all know as Dentists and dental clinic owners that new patients are the life blood of our clinics, new patients allow us to treatment plan and manage their ongoing oral health.
FAQ FAQ Do you approve every dental clinic that wants to register? We only approve a selected number of Dentists/Clinics per area hence we keep Fixed Price Dental more exclusive. Do i need to change the name of my clinic or display Fixed Price Dental signs or advertising? No, we do not advertise your clinic name on our website, we provide patients with a list of suburbs that we have approved Fixed Price Dental clinics in and they choose the location that has the vacancy (and provides the treatment they require). This allows you to provide service to your already loyal patient base and to new patients through Fixed Price Dental. Once the patient books and confirms their appointment the address and contact details of your clinic is provided to them.
FAQ Should I try to convert the Fixed Price Dental patient into a regular patient to my practice? Yes, of course most patients want to go back to a Dentist and clinic they feel comfortable with, once the patient presents for their initial Fixed Price Dental appointment they will become your patient. What marketing does Fixed Price Dental do to gain patients to visit the Fixed Price Dental website? We dominate local online searches and Google ads in the areas we have participating clinics to encourage patients to visit our website to check out this new fresh approach to Dental. We will also market heavily on all social media platforms with local radio and television ads to follow.
FAQ What support do i receive from the Fixed Price Dental team? Once you sign up and are approved we will contact your clinic and train you and your staff how to use our admin portal. We will work with your team to train them, we also have tutorial videos on our portal for you to use to train new staff or refresh you and your staff on our system. We also provide email support, we have technical support staff that will answer any questions you have. What booking fee is charged to patient? We charge the patient a $50 booking deposit for the initial booking. The booking deposit that the patient pays comes off the advertised fixed price fee of the initial treatment, the patient pays you the balance when the initial appointment is finished. All future appointments and correspondence with the patient is through your clinic and no further Booking Deposit is charged from us.
FAQ What happens to the booking fee if a patient cancels to fails to attend their appointment? Our terms and conditions with the patient does not allow them to cancel or reschedule their initial appointment. We find that our FTA rates are extremely low as the patient has paid the booking deposit. Fixed Dental does not refund the booking deposit to the patient or pay this fee to the Dental clinic if the patient fails to attend the appointment. What if I don't want to offer all of the Fixed Price Dental services at my clinic? Unfortunately to become a partner all services will need to be offered.
FAQ How does the patient claim the treatment on private health insurance? At the end of the treatment when the patient pays the balance of the treatment to your clinic, you can claim the amount that the health fund allows through the HICAPS terminal or supply the patient with a receipt for the total amount, the patient can then take this receipt to their insurer for a refund. How do I know when I have received a booking? The practice will receive an email and it will appear in your sidebar with all of the patients details, enter these details straight into your practice management software and the patient is all yours. Or if your practice is using a PMS that we are integrated with, the appointment and patient details will automatically populate your appointment book.
FAQ The Fixed Price Dental fee schedule is a bit confusing given the prices of item numbers in the fee schedule don't add up to the package prices. The Fixed Price Dental fee schedule is to be used when a Fixed Price Dental referred patients attends their initial appointment at your clinic and when they return to your clinic for further treatments. As the patient will book directly with your clinic for future treatment it must be noted in their patient file that they are a Fixed Price Dental referred patient so that they receive the Fixed Price Dental advertised fees. The Fee schedule and codes for each treatment are there as a guide to the codes that we allow to be charged/claimed when the patient is using their private health insurance. As most of our Fixed Price Dental treatments are advertised as a complete package price, the patient must not be charged more than our advertised treatment
FAQ CONTINUED... package cost, even if the sum of the codes used is more or extra codes etc were used in the treatment. Example 1: if a patient is treatment planned by your clinic for a molar RCT and presents for treatment, only the dental codes that are stated in our T & C's are to be used for the purpose of claiming on the patients private health insurance. The Treatment price is still $999 as advertised on the Fixed Price Dental website even if an extra (022) X-ray, (037), etc were used to complete this treatment. Example 2: The Fixed Price Dental checkup & clean treatment covers the following dental codes -examination (011, 012), scale and clean (114) or removal of plaque (111), fluoride (121), x-rays (022 x 2) and OPG (037). The patient must not be charged any more than the advertised treatment package price of $139 regardless of the sum of the codes. If any further item codes are deemed necessary to be used by the treatment practitioner no further costs can be passed on to the patient than the advertised Fixed Price of $139
