Progressive metering devices are used to increase the number of outlets of a lubrication pump to parallel divide the flow of the volume. Progressive metering devices distribute the lubricant one after another in relative rates to each section. Each outlet can supply lubricant to only one lubrication point. As the demand for lubricant increases at some lubrication point, several outlets ports are combined into one. We can always monitor the operation of the system by monitoring the piston.
