Executive Team (ET) The Executive Team provides a ground for communication and coordination both within the Student Board and stakeholders like the CEMS Clubs and the Head Office.
We would like to thank Warsaw School of Economics for hosting us and the CEMS Club Conference and by involving us in the V4 events. The Student Board was also privileged to be sponsored by McKinsey and P&G with a networking dinner and an informative workshop. Lastly, the attendance of Head Office representatives Wieteke Dupain, Monique Tison, Marcel Fuchs and Christina Theophilidou has helped us increase the effectiveness and outputs of the meeting and we are very thankful for their presence.
From the ET We, as the Student Board had this semester’s meeting in Warsaw, kindly sponsored by Warsaw School of Economics. With KEIO University joining us for the first time, 29 representatives attended the meeting in order to raise the issues they have been facing in their schools, or that received as feedback from their cohort. During this meeting, the Student Board has been focusing on projects like kicking off the first regional event in the Asia-Pacific, namely the Asia-Pacific Forum, increasing the awareness of the Student Board, integrating entrepreneurship into the CEMS curriculum and enhancing the existence of sustainability within CEMS students’ experience.
Thanks & acknowledgments Having presented our strategy in Brussels, the Executive Team has been working on one of the crucial parts of it, the Asia-Pacific Forum. Via coordination of the team, a workgroup has been formed and the agenda of the forum has been discussed. As another focus point of the strategy, a workshop with valuable insights about increasing the Student Board awareness among CEMS Students has been facilitated. At last, in order to increase the output of the Student Board projects, workshops differing by the seniority level of the Student Board Representatives have been carried out.

MIM Team (MIM) Working constantly to make sure that CEMS becomes as strong as we know it can be.
MIM Update The MiM team welcomed two new amazing members to the team: Olga from SGH and Milka from Aalto. With their support we focused on completing a student lead research analysis regarding potential new CEMS schools across the Asia Pacific region. In cooperation with the Alumni team we continued to develop the Local Governance Structure project where we are looking to foster communication among all stakeholders in every CEMS school. Finally we continue in our quest to support the schools Peer Review with a complementary student lead Peer Review that has already began at HKUST. 1
Delivered the research into potential new CEMS Schools in the Asia Pacific region 2 Analyzed the feedback from the original rollout of the LGS project in Helsinki and Vienna. Followed by a commitment to simplify the documents presented to stakeholders 3 Presented to the HO the SB perspective on why and how CEMS should include a larger tailored entrepreneurship focused element
It was a great addition to have Christina from the CEMS Head Office joining into our discussions. Based on those interactions there was a mutual commitment to look into how CEMS can incorporate a fresh perspective regarding how entrepreneurship should be integrated into the CEMS curricula at a school level and across the alliance. Corporate Partners (CP) The Corporate Partner or short CP-Team serves as the interface between the students, CEMS Corporate Partners and the CEMS Head Office to facilitate and continuously improve the quantity and quality of CEMS students’ exposure to the corporate world.
CP Update To improve the communication and interaction between CEMS CPs and the students it is crucial to have the necessary IT-infrastructure in place. Hence the launch of a new jobmarket was and will continue to be the focus of our attention. We were extremely happy and grateful for your feedback in order to make the CEMSjobmarket, your jobmarket. Together with the CEMS head office and leading IT providers, the CP team is confident to launch an entirely new, stateof-the-art jobmarket with a dramatically improved interface and functionality in the near future. Besides this main project substantial improvements can be expected regarding CEMS' usage of IT-channels.
1 Creating a new CEMS-jobmarket to establish a suitable IT-infrastructure and enhance the CEMS experience for students and alumni alike. 2 Create and streamline the CEMS corporate communication strategy across all platforms according to your feedback and recommendations. 3 Analyze and incorporate feedback from CPs on CEMS IT-channels to improve the quality and quantity of interaction with all CEMS students.
Janik and Christian were the new additions of this meeting. The great engagement of SB Reps & the students not only underlines the significance of this project but more so allowed us to enjoy the beautiful Warsaw for a bit. Thanks Reps!
