WHAT DOES UNCAPPED, UNSHAPED AND UNLIMITED FIBRE MEAN?
UNCAPPED: No limit on the amount of data used for VISIT CELLC.CO.ZA streaming, internet browsing, downloads and general internet usage. No usage billing applicable.
UNSHAPED: No prioritisation or limitations imposed on individual services, i.e. you always receive the best possible speed on all service types. General Terms and Conditions A new Cell C subscriber agreement in which the customer will accept all Terms and Conditions must be completed. If the customer enters into a subscriber agreement with Cell C during the month, the first month’s subscription fee will be prorated for that month. Thereafter, the customer will be billed monthly for the service subscription and will receive full allocation of the inclusive value (specific to the package subscribed to) on the first of each month. Cell C may amend, modify or otherwise change these Terms and Conditions in its sole and absolute discretion and the amended version will be displayed in the same media as these Terms and Conditions. Cell C will notify the customer before Cell C amends or otherwise changes the Terms and Conditions. International calling and roaming are excluded from inclusive benefits. All standard Terms and Conditions of the Cell C Service Provider apply. Standard RICA rules and processes apply. All prices and usage rates advertised include VAT, unless otherwise stated. Contract Terms and Conditions SmartData Contract
SmartData contracts are available as either Postpaid or TopUp and are available as SIM only offers or deals with devices (as advertised). Monthly data will be equally allocated every month for the contract duration, other than in the first month when the data allocation and monthly subscription will be prorata’d according to the number of days remaining in the month. Data will be allocated on the first of every month at 00:00:00 and will be valid until the end of the next calendar month after which any unused data will expire. The monthly inclusive Nite data is only applicable to Postpaid contracts and can be used only between 12am and 6am. Nite data does not rollover and will expire at the end of the calendar month in which it was allocated. To use LTE, the customer must be provisioned for the LTE service on the Cell C network and must be in an area covered by Cell C LTE. Pinnacle Plans The Pinnacle packages are available on both Post-paid and Top Up for new and existing customers. A 24 month pro-rated clawback in the event of an early cancellation of the contract, i.e. the customer will be liable for the outstanding pro-rata amount of the installation or connection or Wi-Fi router or black Smartbox (as applicable) should they cancel the contract within the first 24 month period from the service activation date. Upon successful application for C-Fibre, Cell C will deduct an equivalent of one month’s subscription fee (plus any other applicable costs) immediately from the customer’s credit, as an upfront payment for the C-Fibre service. In order to do so, Cell C will require the customer’s credit card details, in order to facilitate the upfront payment. In return for the provision of Services, you agree to pay the monthly Subscription Fee, which is billed to you in advance. The Subscription Fee that you pay at the end of a month is for the next month’s services. If the Agreement starts later than the first day of any month then the first month’s Subscription Fee and Inclusive Benefits will be pro-rated. C-Fibre inclusive benefits will be allocated at the beginning of each month. C-Fibre service will be activated only once the fibre service is installed at the subscriber premises. MediaPlay Fibre It is important that you understand and agree to these Terms and Conditions, as well as the C-Fibre Terms and Conditions (which are available on the Cell C website) in order to make use of the Cell MediaPlay Fibre service. It is important that you understand that Cell C does not own the fibre network, the fibre lines or the Consumer Premises Equipment (“CPE”) installed at your premises and that these remain the property of the Fibre Network Operators (“FNO”) at all times. Notwithstanding the date of the C-Fibre installation, the use of the MediaPlay Fibre tariff plans will be on a month to month basis, until such time as MediaPlay Fibre is cancelled by either you or Cell C in accordance with the respective rights set out in these Terms and Conditions. Port-IN of numbers is allowed for customers porting from other mobile operators to MediaPlay Fibre. Port-IN will only be initiated once the fibre service is installed and active. The BINGE Premium entertainment package on black will be activated only once the fibre service is installed and active. The Wi-Fi router, black SmartBox and mobile SIM cards will be shipped to you only once the fibre service is installed and active. E&OE applies.
C Surance
The Insurance company is The Hollard Insurance Company Limited. Worldwide Advisory Services (Pty) Limited are an authorised Financial Services Provider (FSP 12 964). The call centre number is 084 157 0007, where your policy will be issued and administered, and where all claims under your policy will be handled. Anyone helping you in store is not authorised to give you any recommendation, guidance or advice about whether you should take out the policy. They will give you factual details about the policy, guide you through the brochure, and answer any routine questions you may have. If you want financial advice, they will give you time to consult your own Broker or you can call Worldwide Advisory Services call centre. Cell C shall not be liable for any liability, loss(es) and/or damage and/or cost or expense whether direct, indirect and/or of a consequential nature relating directly or indirectly to the insurance. You are free to take out alternative cover of your own choice. You will not be insured until you receive an SMS on your mobile device confirming that your insurance has begun. Therefore, you must activate the mobile device and SIM card immediately.
