“For me, a cellar is a form of grid, a repetitive and utilitarian structure. From a geometric pattern that I drew and imagined in volume, I intervened on the structure of the cellar in a simple way, by subtracting the elements of its composition. The sequencing principle is thus disturbed by a deconstruction until the complete degradation of the pattern, which is that of the cellar. From these full and empty spaces results a complex and light binary frame in which the bottles will be displayed in a gradually decreasing sequence.”

Frédéric Cordier Artist

Frédéric Cordier is a SwissCanadian artist born in Montreal in 1985. His work revolves around the notion of systems to which he associates the idea of dysfunctionality. His formal preoccupations explore the basic elements of a specific vocabulary, aiming at a highly visual efficacy with simple interventions that play on rhythm and pattern, full and empty, black and white. Through sculpture, architectural installation, and drawing, Frédéric Cordier explores a visual language that focuses on repetition. His solo exhibitions include Toppings (2022) in Lausanne, Vapeurs (2022) in Quebec City, and Night Views (2023) in Montreal. In 2023, he also released a monograph covering his work from 2010 to 2022. In 2024, Cordier participated in the group exhibition Hantologie/Anthologie #2 in Saint-Étienne, France. 20

Mathieu Beauséjour Artist

Mathieu Beauséjour’s work has been presented at numerous art centres, public and private galleries, biennales, and museums in Canada and Europe. Recent exhibitions include his show Demi-monde at Bradley Ertaskiran Gallery in Montreal, Horizon perdu at Galerie Antoine Ertaskiran in 2025. His work can be found in numerous collections, including the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, the Musée d’Art Contemporain de Montréal, the Musée National des Beaux-Arts du Québec as well as corporate and private collections.

Myriam Dion Artist

Dion holds a master’s degree in fine arts (MFA) from UQAM in Montreal, Canada. Her work gained international exposure after her solo exhibition at Galerie Division in Montreal in 2017. She then had solo and group exhibitions in Canada and Europe (Rijswijk Museum, Netherlands). In 2022–2023, she exhibited Jardins at Blouin Division. In 2024, her solo show Timelines was presented at Arsenal Contemporary in New York. Her work can be found in numerous private and corporate collections.

Open Windows envisions a cellar that offers a quiet refuge from the frenzy of everyday life. The result captures a sense of the sacred, as the cellar becomes a space for reflection, celebration and meditation on the senses.”

Samantha Holmes Artist

Samantha Holmes is a Bronx based artist who focuses on conceptual and material experimentation in mosaic. Her work has been exhibited internationally, including at the Palazzo Fortuny (Venice), in conjunction with the 2015 Venice Biennale, the Bronx Museum of the Arts (NYC), and the Sharjah Art Museum (UAE), and her public art installations can be seen throughout the U.S. and internationally. She is the recipient of the 2011 International GAEM Art Prize (Young Artists and Mosaic), as well as the 2013 RAM Prize for Mosaic. She holds degrees from Harvard University (BA, Visual and Environmental Studies, 2006) and the Accademia di Belle Arti in Ravenna (MFA, Experimental Mosaic, 2014), and is co-founder of the custom mosaic studio Motivo Mosaic in New York. In 2024, she participated in Structural Play at the Sugar Hill Children’s Museum and Among Friends at Metaphor Projects in Brooklyn. 46

Based on photograms, this unique wine space is a nod to what happens in a dark room. Meticulously designed to evoke brief moments of wonder and a dynamic rhythm, it keeps in mind the idea of a composed, framed space, that summons the geometry of the photograms.

Yann Pocreau Artist

Yann Pocreau was born in Quebec City in 1980. He lives and works in Montreal. In his recent research, he is interested in light as a living subject and its effect on the narrative of images. He has participated in several Canadian, American and European exhibitions, including Quebec Gold, presented in Reims, France; Exercises of empathy, at Espace Bortier in Brussels; Out of Grace, at the Leonard & Bina Ellen Art Gallery; the New Visionaries and Paperwork in New York; L’image rôde (Louise Déry curator) at Le Fresnoy, France and the 5th Bienniale of Sinop in Turkey. His work has been reviewed in various magazines and his work can be found in the collections of the National Bank of Canada, Hydro-Québec, the City of Montreal, the Musée d’Art Contemporain de Montréal, the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, in the Collection Prêt d’Oeuvres d’Art at the Musée National des Beaux-Arts du Québec. His recent notable exhibitions include The Lapse in Between (2025) and Towards the Light (2025).

A monumental wall covered with ebonized oak, as huge Van Gogh’s canva. The wood surface of the wall is explicitly worked to recreate Van Gogh’s emblematic impasto brushstroke, inviting the viewer to lose himself in its mesmerizing texture. The wall integrates a series of white oak niches, which emerges from different angles to the observer’s eye. Each of these niches exhibits a single bottle, floating in a soft and subtle light.

By shaping the overarching design vision, he ensures seamless integration of both technical and functional elements. Drawing inspiration from contemporary architecture, Dominique combines his sharp rationality with a bold creative edge, infusing each project with his signature touch of originality. His expertise extends beyond design—he also conceived and developed Cellart’s first collection of wine objects, Les Irremplaçables.
