Marcello was collaborator at Spazio Sempione studio in Milan, Intern at Samsung in Milan, intern at Spes - Angelantoni of Massa Martana, carpenter and designer at Roberto Naspi Carpenetry of Rieti.

Marcello gratuated in Product Design in 2009 , He is specializes in Service Design in 2011 at the ISIA in Rome.

In 2011, he exhibited at Fuorisalone with Beb - Up, a 2nd prize at Sixth Sense Verbatim + PPML .

In 2012 participates in the competition IED “Creative Diary” with his thesis “Liberateca , a system for sharing books”, receiving 1st prize that was a Masters in Sustainable Product Design, Innovation and Management at IED Barcelona, which he attended in 2013.

Thanks to studies and works experience, Marcello has developed the ability to design innovative solutions applying a systemic process (design thinking ).

His metod is focusing on the User with research method based on the study of market, trends and society.

Innovation Project of the climatic chambers produced by Angelantoni.

The team were interested in developing a new interface to interact with the functionality of the chambers. The research involved the study of a support for the screen.

RABDO Finding water _

This faucet represents an old legend.

Someone says that the Rabdomant can find water from underground thanks to a piece of wood with a specific form.

Rabdo represents this piece of wood and it is planted into the earth to extract water.

MAGRITTE Squeezer _

Magritte is composed by a base that contains an engine, a juice container that fits with the base and a lid.

The two shells are joined by a single screw hidden under the base, which allows easy disassembly.

In the center of container there is a hole that allows passage of transmission, applied to the squeezer.

In the junction between wire and base is inserted a rubber part that is the handle of Magritte.

BEB-UP

Flat oled multicolor lamp _

Is a flat lamp who became 3D when every frame turn on its axis.

The user can change color and brightness of the lamp thanks to the controllers on the front of the biggest frame.

Three sensor monitor the sixth sense of the lamp.

The color of light changes depending on temperature, lighting and noise to the sorrounding envirornment.

SGABETTIERI Stools chest

_ Sgabettieri is create for littles houses that somethimes needs to transform for big parties with friends.

In daily life this furniture is a chest of drawers, but if you need more chairs you only have to lock each drawer, put your hands into two handles, pick up and put each one down. In this way four drawers becames four guests chairs.

QBICO

1.

Chair, tea table, air depurator _ Qbico is a chair made of ceramic, the cube is divided to create two modules that serve as chair or table. The drawing inside the module is typical of the Umbrian tradition of Deruta.

The idea was to represent the duality of traditional-innovative material.

When closed the object appears simple and essential hiding inside a different world more traditional.

This particular ceramic when exposed at the sun clean the air.

BIOSAVE

Biodegradable piggy bank _ It is a fun and educational object that wants to explain to children the concept of biodegradability and savings.

Through the use of a mixture of coffee and flour we created a piggy bank that, once it is full of money, it can be buried.

After 5 days, the material is already biodegraded and it is possible to recover the money as if they were a hidden treasure. The seeds mixed into the material will be born a few weeks after reiterating the memory of the experience.

SNOOD Structural net

_ Snood is a flexible net that allowed to create free structure.

Each module, made of silicon, has a slot and two holes where inserts the bamboo.

The loop can interact with the module itself or with other modules.

FISSURE Structural net

_ Fissure is inspired by the paint of Burri, who both worked on characterization of the natural surface.

The polished steel body enhances the round shapes of the box by 42 mm, cut from glossy black enamel fissures that characterize the beginning of the steel strap and sides of the fissures.

_ The purpose of the project is the care of such things as good practices, that help sharing between people by designing a service. Through identification of various system phases like a cardboard displayed for the public share of books and a bookmark which will marks the books during the exchange the sharing can done.

FLAMINGO

Urban picnic _ Flamingo is an urban pic nic that create a personal and indivudal way to live the street and public places, designed with a cradle to cradle perspective and a Design for All principles.

At the same time, each indivdual module of Flamingo can be assembled to form other object and different social point.

Thanks to this modularity Flamingo can adapt its from for different space, we think zero impact way to install flamingo in different surfaces.

CARE TRAY

1.

Tray for alzheimer autonomy

_ Care Tray providing support and information about the meal that is consuming. Facilitates the role of caregiver for the replacement of meal, decreasing the likelihood of accidents at the table. The side of the tray is provided with an accommodation in order to insert the floppy for the recognition of the daily menu, the food leaves memory if the tray through a visible trace.

The plate and cup have a flag probe: an outer sheath that communicates visual feedback on the temperature of the contents.

The color of light changes depending on temperature, lighting and noise to the sorrounding envirornment.
