IMPORTANT UPDATE ON CITY PERMITTING SOFTWARE

In February, the City issued an RFP for new permitting software, and after reviewing three bids, staff selected My Government Online (MGO) as the preferred solution. MGO provides an integrated platform featuring a customer portal, digital plan review, work order management, project management, and contractor licensing.

Following City Council approval of the contract, the project officially launched in June. Staff have completed the necessary data preparation, and MGO is currently structuring and building the software. Residential permits are fully prepared and will go live on December 8, 2025, while commercial permits are expected to be completed in early 2026. Additional details regarding the implementation will be shared at the Builder’s Luncheon on December 4, 2025.

Important Information:

• All residential permits must be submitted through MGO beginning December 8, 2025.

• Permits submitted prior to December 8 must be processed through MyGov.

• Existing permits submitted before December 8 will remain in MyGov until completion.
