POLICE DEPARTMENT LAUNCHES BLUE SANTA PROGRAM

This week, the Celina Police Department proudly launched its annual Blue Santa Program, an initiative dedicated to supporting over 130 local families in need this holiday season. This program provides community members with a meaningful way to give back by adopting families and fulfilling personalized holiday wish lists for Celina ISD students.

Participants receive detailed instructions, including each child’s unique needs and wishes, gift-wrapping guidelines, and the delivery deadline. Group adoptions are encouraged, allowing friends, family, and neighbors to participate together. Additionally, $25 Visa or Walmart gift cards are welcome to help complete wish lists. TEXAS HEALTH RESOURCES PURCHASES 21 ACRES OF LAND IN CELINA

Texas Health Resources, based in Arlington, recently acquired two tracts of land located at the northwest corner of the Dallas North Tollway and the Collin County Outer Loop. The property was sold by Tollway Celina 45 Partners, with REX Real Estate brokering the transaction. While the purchase price remains undisclosed, the site is anticipated to become a hospital or health campus. However, representatives from Texas Health Resources have indicated that plans for the land are still in development. This acquisition, as reported by the Dallas Morning News on Thursday, November 7, signals the potential for a fourth hospital site in Celina, reflecting the interest of North Texas health care providers in serving the region’s rapidly growing population.

THANK YOU TO OUR WATER DEPARTMENT FOR HELPING A YOUNG RESIDENT

This week, the Water Department demonstrated their commitment to our community in a truly touching way. When a young resident’s beloved stuffed dinosaur fell into a storm drain, leaving him heartbroken, our team stepped up to help. His mother shared that, with a heavy heart, he had even asked his dino to “be safe until he could get back home.” Thanks to the dedication and compassion of our Water Department team, Dino was safely retrieved and returned to his joyful owner. It’s often these small yet powerful acts of kindness that remind us of

DALLAS NORTH TOLLWAY PHASE 4A PROJECT: LANE CLOSURE NOTIFICATION
