CITY UPDATES
CELEBRATING THE SUCCESS OF BEWARE! OF THE SQUARE
Thank you for your tremendous support of our annual Beware! of the Square event held last Saturday. It was an exceptional evening that truly captured the spirit of our community, bringing everyone together for a memorable celebration. It was heartwarming to see families in costume, young children collecting treats from various vendors, dancing on the Square, painting pumpkins, and braving the Haunted House with such enthusiasm.
We extend special recognition to our Marketing Team for their outstanding work, along with the many other departments whose dedication made this event possible. A sincere thank you goes to our Police Department, Fire Department, Engineering, Public Works, Parks & Recreation, Finance, Technology, and so many more who played a vital role in ensuring a successful, safe, and enjoyable evening for our community. This year’s Beware! of the Square was our largest yet, and we look forward to its continued growth and success in the years ahead.

JOIN US FOR OUR FINAL FRIDAY NIGHT MARKET OF THE YEAR
This evening, November 1, marks our final Friday Night Market of the year, closing out a fantastic season of this cherished community tradition. The Friday Night Markets have truly become a hallmark monthly event, bringing friends, families, and neighbors together to enjoy the best of our local vendors and artisans. We invite you all to join us on the Downtown Square at 6:00 PM to celebrate our last market of the year and to share in this special evening with our community.
POLICE DEPARTMENT LAUNCHES BLUE SANTA PROGRAM
This week, the Celina Police Department proudly launched its annual Blue Santa Program, an opportunity to support over 130 families in our community this holiday season. If you’re looking for a meaningful way to give back, consider joining us in bringing joy to Celina families through this beloved initiative. Here are some key details for the Blue Santa Program courtesy of the Police Department:
Local Families in Need: Every family supported through the Blue Santa Program lives within the Celina community, and each child attends Celina ISD schools.
Personalized Wish Lists: Blue Santa isn’t a standard toy drive. Each child provides a unique list, including both needs and personal holiday wishes. When you adopt a family, you’ll receive an email with instructions, including the child’s list, gift-wrapping guidelines, and the deadline for delivery.
Group Adoptions Welcome: Prefer to adopt with others? Feel free to team up with friends, family, or neighbors. Just one contact is needed for the process, making it easy to share the joy together.
Gift Cards Welcome: We’re also grateful for $25 Visa or Walmart gift cards to help complete family wish lists.
The Blue Santa Program flourishes thanks to the generosity of our residents during the holiday season. [ CLICK HERE TO ADOPT A FAMILY ]

DALLAS NORTH TOLLWAY PHASE 4A PROJECT: LANE CLOSURE NOTIFICATION

These closures will facilitate the transport of topsoil, a mass haul of materials, and the cleaning of the area. It is important to note that the entire left lanes will not be closed, and closures will only occur at the construction exits as necessary. NTTA has approved these closures on the condition that they are used solely for hauling purposes and that the Dallas Parkway is kept clean at all times.
