SCHOOL FOR OUR STUDENTS IN CELINA ISD & PROSPER ISD BEGINS THIS WEEK
As we embark on the 2024-2025 school year, the City extends our best wishes to all students and families beginning their educational journey. Please remember to remind our residents minimize distractions and adhere to all speed limits, particularly in school zones. Together, let us work to make this a successful school year.
Here are some tips that the City will be sharing with the community to assist with school safety, especially the first week:
1. Allow ample travel time, especially if you drop off children at multiple campuses. Avoid rushing.
2. Be patient and courteous on the road and in school pick-up/drop-off lines.
3. Familiarize yourself with your route to and from the school(s) and have a backup route in case of unforeseen circumstances. If you do not have children in school, try to avoid driving in school zones during drop-off and pick-up times.
4. Follow all traffic laws diligently.
Adhering to these guidelines ensures that school-related traffic flows smoothly, efficiently, and, most importantly, safely.

DALLAS NORTH TOLLWAY PHASE 4A PROJECT: LANE CLOSURE NOTIFICATION
For the ongoing work on the Dallas North Tollway (DNT) Phase 4A Project, contractors will implement lane closures next week. Please note that the entire left lanes will not be closed; closures will only occur at the construction exits as needed. The North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA) has approved these closures on the condition that they are used solely for hauling purposes and that the contractors ensure the cleanliness of Dallas Pkwy.

• Northbound and southbound left lanes of Dallas Pkwy., from First St. to Frontier Pkwy.
• Northbound and southbound left lanes of Dallas Pkwy., from Light Farms Way to FM 428
