This free event offers kids of all ages an interactive and fun learning experience. Please remember that the new location for our annual Touch-a-Truck event will be at Old Celina Park. NEW WASTEWATER WINTER AVERAGE IN UTILITY BILL
The City of Celina has recalculated the average monthly wastewater use, which may have impacted the wastewater charge on our resident’s water bill. The City used the water consumption from November 18, 2023 through March 17, 2024 to calculate an average monthly wastewater use. Typically, water use for landscaping is limited during this period. This allows the City to identify the water use that goes into the sewer system and applies this “winter average” use to the water bill for the next 12 months. If residents have questions about the new wastewater average use, please contact Utility Customer Service at UB@celina-tx.gov or (972) 382-2682.
NORTH COLLIN COUNTY NEIGHBORHOOD CONFERENCE SET FOR APRIL 20
This year’s North Collin County Neighborhood Conference is slated for Saturday, April 20, from 9:45 AM - 1:00 PM. The theme for this year’s conference is “Home Safe Home,” and this free event is an opportunity for residents all across north Collin County to come together and learn about neighborhood safety.
Attendees will hear from a panel of local Police Chiefs as they discuss crime prevention strategies. In addition to the Police Chiefs’ panel, attendees will benefit from essential home safety tips to maintain healthy and thriving neighborhoods, code compliance tips, and ideas for hosting block parties to foster community bonds. This event is open to residents, HOAs, and neighborhood associations aiming to strengthen their communities.
