PUBLIC MEETING SCHEDULED FOR SUNSET BOULEVARD PROJECT

The City of Celina Engineering Department will be hosting a Public Meeting for the Sunset Boulevard Asphalt Improvements Project on Wednesday, February 12, at 6:00 PM in the Council Chambers. This project involves the reconstruction of the existing two-lane asphalt pavement along Sunset Boulevard, stretching from Preston Road (SH 289) to Coit Road. Additionally, the improvements include the installation of a new wastewater line, manholes, and necessary appurtenances, beginning at the intersection of Preston Road and Sunset Boulevard and extending eastward within the prescriptive right-of-way.

The meeting is designed to share details about the traffic control plans and provide an opportunity for residents and businesses affected by the construction to address any questions, comments, or concerns. We encourage all impacted stakeholders to attend and stay informed about this significant infrastructure project.

ROAD CLOSURE: CR 58 BETWEEN N. LOUISIANA DRIVE & CR 59

Beginning Monday, January 27, CR 58, between N. Louisiana Drive and CR 59, will be closed to local traffic only to facilitate a critical utility crossing project. This closure is expected to last for one week, weather permitting. This essential work is part of ongoing efforts to upgrade and enhance infrastructure within the area. We appreciate your patience and understanding as this important project is completed and remain committed to minimizing any inconvenience during this temporary closure.
