CHRIS AMMONS

Chrimmons (Chris Ammons) is an artist, filmmaker and creative director living and working in Nashville, TN, where he makes work with heart, soul and style.

His work deals with themes of toxic masculinity, the male gaze, pop culture, beauty standards, duality and trusting the process through the lens of experimental cinema, mixed media, collage, and music.

His recent film “Two Women” has been featured in festivals in the United States, Paris (twice) (it won Best Experimental Short at Paris Women Festival), and Brazil.

As a creative director he has won multiple awards for advertising and design and led a multi-disciplinary team in the making of a FIFA World Cup sponsorship campaign for Slack.

His work is textural, bold and graphic with strong composition and a clear voice.
