Presidents Corner Gentlemen, Cruiser Heads and Fellow LC believers, Well gentlemen spring is about sprung and summer is about to arrive. I hope everyone is enjoying or planning to enjoy a vacation. I had the opportunity to take Sampson off road last week for the first time. It was the first time I locked in the hubs since converting to disk brakes as well as engaging the front Aussie locker for the first time. Everything worked according to the plan and it didn't hurt that there was a J**p owner riding shotgun. He got the right impression as well! I hope everyone is planning on attending the Wrench Meeting on the 20th of this month at Jason's garage. If you are going to make it please let Jason know so he can plan for the appropriate amount of food. Next Saturday is the scheduled monthly meeting we have few things to discuss and prepare for, so I hope to see you there. Until then keep the shiny side up! If you can't manage that at least get some good photo's so the rest of us can enjoy your adventure too!!

Minutes of Last Meeting: Attendance: We had ten in attendance at the Bill Penney meeting and another small turnout at the Meet-and-Eat at Newk’s.

Three new members were added.

Everyone join in welcoming Jason and Carmen Thompson and Griffin Butler!

Introductions were made.

GSMTR was a good turnout; I cleaned up on the raffle with 4 prizes on 60 tickets. Welding helmet, really nice tire deflator, troll hole dizzy, etc...

We need to organize a club camp at wind rock for next year; GSMTR 2016 dates are being planned now on STLCA club page on ih8mud Wrench session is coming up 6/20; we need to get the details nailed down for any food and rig work .

JB Wrench Day Tentative Plan:

The Prez reports that the website is coming along…slowly but surely!

Our TLCA rep reports that Toyota Trails is now printed in full color.

Several ideas for a June event were debated. After the meeting it was decided we would have a wrench day at Jason Braswell’s place in Guntersville on June 20th, tentative plans are in the fun column.

Kyle is interested in a tranny swap, Chris is ordering motor mounts and I will be looking to remove the head on my 2F to prep for a new head gasket.

I am planning around 10 or so people.

We should plan to start early around 8ish to use the cooler part of the day.

I am looking for a few volunteers to handle food and drinks for everyone. We can pool together money.

I have a grill ready for burgers and dogs or we could order pizzas. Shop has a full size fridge and I will have a big cooler with ice ready.

Looks to be a great event. Wives and children are welcome to come hang out.

Most everyone knows about the IH8MUD forum, most of us are on it and we have almost everyone’s screen name on the roster so we can follow each other there.
